There’s no topic GoAskAlex is avoiding in 2022. So of course she’s down to dish on the aftermath of having ostomy surgery and reaching out to the masses down to get her advice.

GoAskAlex is offering advice and specific tips on how people who have undergone an ostomy surgery can make their lives more comfortable with a helpful YouTube clip, “How to Make Your Home Ostomy Friendly.”

The model, content creator and disability activist, who has been guiding curious viewers with welcome information and assistance about managing a healthy post-op lifestyle on her YouTube channel, GoAskAlexOnline, explains how to make a home more accessible to a person with an ostomy.

Alex says these small but important tips will be useful to those who may be new to ostomy care and management. "It took me a couple of years to get an understanding of what I needed in order to be comfortable at home. Rather than troubleshooting alone, I hope that new ostomates can utilize this instructional video and to live their best life possible - as soon as possible."

Alex has also posted other educational YouTube clips to support new ostomates on their journey: “Ileostomy Q&A (one month post-op)” and “Ileostomy Q&A (one year post-op)”, “The Difference Between a ‘One Piece’ and a ‘Two Piece’” and “Why I Use a ‘One Piece’”.
