Low-key and high-key? It’s super tough knowing there’s only - yup, I said only - six episodes for the new ‘Secret Invasion’ series on Disney+ and of course presented by Marvel Studios - or is it Marvel Entertainment? Regardless of the nitty gritty details, one thing you can count on is the fact this thrill ride is in the single digits and makes every scene hold so much more weight. So with episode two officially in the books and this being a certified Date Night-approved must-see show, here’s three moments you have to pause the bae’watch and tap in.

1. The first seven minutes is all about backstories

I know - sounds super dumb but who hasn’t jumped right into make-out goals at the start of any series or movie? You figure there’s some boring moments happening at the start of the credits but in this case, the first seven minutes are super vital for understanding not only the basis of the series but some major character connections. Plus, how insanely cool is it to see a ‘97 Samuel L. Jackson portrayed Nick Fury, too?

All jokes aside, you get the backstory of what the series is centered on along with the new characters and relationships are provided much deeper context than what we saw on the premiere episode.

2. Around the 20-minute mark is a super twist-heavy explosion

Love twists? You don’t have to worry about it getting to M. Night Shyamalan-esque but needless to say? If you glance over and see a big roundtable scene - you better believe you’re going to be pretty blown away by what’s presented. Major twists and let’s face it - the Skrulls presence in the series gets even more insane with what’s revealed during this scene. Pay close attention to the discussion for the major foreshadowing - potentially, of course - to what’s likely going to happen in the coming episodes.

3. The Don Cheadle interaction around 34-minutes

This one is tough. I wanted to squeeze in the final scene as a major must-see moment but while you should let that nugget sit in your head, it’s vital to completely pause your bae action for full-fledged attention being placed on the scene between Nick Fury and Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes.

Holy freaking smokes. The intensity between these two standout actors is priceless and while you expect Jackson to have the edge, getting Cheadle to check his character and completely body the scene? Award-winning acting and possibly one of the biggest standout moments I’ve ever seen between these two Hollywood actors.

The thrill ride isn’t just beginning, it’s igniting with each episode and the hype is super real for quite possibly Marvel Entertainment’s best dramatic and action-packed release in recent memory.
