Everyone's going to see Broadway's A Strange Loop musical

Broadway is officially back and operational so the crowds heading out to see superb on-stage acting are pulling through in swarms. But while Lion King and Book of Mormon are must-see productions, the time for something new and fun - plus Tony Award-winning - like A Strange Loop has arrived.

Everyone’s seeing A Strange Loop on Broadway

Over the past few weeks, everyone from Zendaya, the Forever First Lady Michelle Obama and Samuel L. Jackson to Queen Latifah and Gayle King have stepped up to show support for the mind-blowing production.

Luminaries are converging on Broadway to see Michael R. Jackson’s A STRANGE LOOP, the hit show which recently won Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical at the Tony Awards. Zendaya, Michelle Obama, Steven Spielberg, Whoopi Goldberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Holliday, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jesse Williams, Queen Latifah, Questlove, Anna Wintour, Cynthia Erivo, Lena Waithe, Julianne Moore, Trevor Noah, Cynthia Nixon, Bernadette Peters, Gayle King and Amber Ruffin are among the celebrities who have come out for the show that is breaking new ground for Black and LGBTQ+ representation on Broadway. A new video shows celebrity support for the groundbreaking show.

Jennifer Hudson recently became an EGOT (Emmy Award, Grammy Award, Oscar and Tony Award-winning artist) when the show won Best Musical at the 2022 Tony Awards; she serves as a producer for the show along with celebrities and notables Billy Porter, Don Cheadle and Bridgid Coulter Cheadle, Mindy Kaling, RuPaul Charles, Alan Cumming, Paul Oakley Stovall, Meena Harris, Debra Martin Chase and Ilana Glazer

“Phenomenal. One of the funniest and most poignant shows I’ve ever seen,” said Noah, host of THE DAILY SHOW, who has seen the show multiple times.

“A wildly unique, brilliant show. I laughed and I cried,” said Charles of RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE.

The legendary RuPaul has even come forward to dish on why A Strange Loop is not your ordinary musical.

The hype is set to continue and at ticket prices of just $49 to under $200, it’s a steal of a deal for a Broadway production in 2022.

Meet Usher: a Black, queer writer writing a musical about a Black, queer writer writing a musical about a Black, queer writer...

Michael R. Jackson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning, blisteringly funny masterwork exposes the heart and soul of a young artist grappling with desires, identity, and instincts he both loves and loathes. Hell-bent on breaking free of his own self-perception, Usher wrestles with the thoughts in his head, brought to life on stage by a hilarious, straight-shooting ensemble. Bold and heartfelt in its truth-telling, A STRANGE LOOP is the big, Black, and queer-ass Great American Musical for all.

Tickets for A STRANGE LOOP range from $49-$179 (inclusive of the $2 facility fee) and are available at Telecharge.com (212-239-6200).
