1. Don’t swim with dry hair - How do I do that you might ask? If you’re still enjoying the last month of summer, make sure you soak your hair with fresh water before it touches the chlorine. This ensures it doesn’t become a sponge for all of the chemicals in the pool.

2. Keep your pillow dry - Did your grandmother ever tell you going to bed with wet hair would make you sick? We’re not doctors, but what we can tell you is that sleeping with wet hair is in it’s weakest state when it’s wet and can cause lots of damage.

3. Give your scalp a spa day twice per week - Just like the rest of our body, our scalps deserve moisture, hydration and a little TLC. Remedy Plant Lab’s Hair + Scalp Therapy Oil uses organic oils to give your scalp a much needed deep conditioning. This delicious smelling serum hydrates your scalp while enhancing the natural shine of your hair. (Brand is on Skimlinks)

4. Shampoo with fresh aloe vera - Mixing in a spoonful of fresh aloe vera from a leaf you can buy at the grocery store for around $3 is a great quick fix as it has fatty acids and amino acids and is rich in vitamins A, B12, C, and E.
