Kandi Burruss decodes everything 'Kandi & The Gang' is about

Reality TV star Kandi Burruss isn’t slowing down with 2022 heavily underway. Instead, she’s on her promotion tour gearing ups or the world to dig into everything her ‘Kandi & The Gang’ show has to offer.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker decoded their new show

During an appearance on Atlanta’s V-103, KB and her ride or die Todd Tucker chopped it up about their show - even playing the intro which is written and performed by Kandi herself.

“I woke up bouncing around and only slept for a couple hours. Bright eyes, ready to go today, last night was amazing,” Kandi said regarding the show’s premiere. “It was a scheme that Todd came up with. With Kandi’s crazy family, and our crazy staff, they were born for T.V., mixed with food and fun. It was like man, this is a great show. I put it together, it took a little time, but Bravo knew what to do. We’re here, it feels good…When you come up with an idea, and to really see it transform and finally get on T.V., it’s like man, ‘Did I come up with this?’ As soon as you come up with one, you’ve got to come up with the next one.”

They even dish on having the double duty of filming reality TV and juggling real life family goals.

“It’s hard, because sometimes our family gets all sensitive about certain things. I’ve be trying to tell them, ‘You will be alright, it’s not that deep’, but they be all in their feelings. I don’t even know what to be saying sometimes…So you know it gets real when they film, man. They just be authentically themselves. It definitely comes out…My momma and Aunt Nora, they’re just real sensitive…People don’t understand with reality T.V. when you film it, you go through it, and when you watch it on T.V., you go through it again. It can be a little tough.”
