I love Miami. Miami would be like my hometown but I go to LA for business or traveling or anything that I have to do in LA basically. But I like LA, I just wouldn’t live there.

2. The Travis Scott Hype Is Real

There’s a contract that I’m signed to them but I don’t really know what’s going to happen next. But yeah, I’ve been on Travis [Scott’s team] for like 9 months. He’s a cool guy, you know.

3. Joining Atlantic Records Was A Dream Come True

I freaking love them. Honestly.  I think I’m going to New York next week after LA to meet up with them. So I’m excited.

4. Malu Couldn’t Wait To Drop ‘Complicado’

‘Complicado’ - I wanted to drop that song because it was very different from all the song that I’ve been doing in the studio so I just wanted to drop this - I love ‘Complicado’ and it’s a very different song that I’ve never really done.

I had a lot of people DM’ing me and telling me, ‘You really look like a star. This is what you’re here for. You look amazing in the video.’ And then my fans were just like, ‘I love it. I can’t wait for more.’

And some of them don’t know Spanish so they were like, ‘Next song, at least put some English into it so I could understand it a little more.’

5. 19th Birthday Party Celebration Was Litty W/ Snoop Dogg + Young M.A

There’s this friend of mine and they know their manager so we just hit them up and told them to come to the party and they just pulled up.

I got extra  high with Snoop Dogg

6. Blowing Up On TikTok Sparked Her Career

Honestly, I signed up to Musical.ly before it turned into TikTok now and I was 13. So it was like 5 or 6 years ago. I was just doing dancing and I was just having fun and it was like a way for me to get out of this hole I was in. I was just doing videos to be happy because it was what I loved and people started catching up to it and they liked my personality too so they kept just following me. And then I just started to make singing into a career and Atlantic came through.

7. Never Tried To Get A Following

I just do me, honestly. I never really looked at the following like ‘I’ve got to get more.’ It’s just about the people that love me and want to join my little adventure, I am all for it. I just be doing me and encourage people to do themselves too and capture their dreams. People are always going to hate and so you’ve got to keep going.

8. Hollywood Acting Is Already Happening

I just did a scary movie and it’s pretty dope. I just did one and I will for sure keep acting. If I get into acting, I’m really good at remembering what I’ve got to say and getting into character.

[‘Squid Game 2?’] Hell yeah. I would learn Korean!

9. Malu Is Down To Model, Sing + Act

I would love it honestly. It would take my anxiety away. It takes me out of my trauma and my past. So I am all for it. I will do movies. I want to model for sure. I tried modeling once when I wasn’t famous and they said I wasn’t skinny and pretty enough and all that stuff, now look at me.

10. Malu Is Down To Be A Rihanna Savage x Fenty Ambassador
