Rubi Rose drops her ‘Cherry’ music video to the masses

It’s more than just a fire tune from Rubi. The hip-hop artist delivers and heats up the entire world with her jaw-dropping music video rollout.

Rubi Rose (Mogul Vision/Interscope Records) has blessed fans with a special treat in the form of a new music video for her latest hit single, “Cherry.” In the video directed by Legit Looks, the burgeoning rap star gets her bars off in front of two red Lamborghinis parked in a lot. She then brings viewers to a photo shoot where she commands the room posing with money while all the flashbulbs go off.

“Cherry” was released last November, and the visual is the latest entry in the Kentucky native’s growing catalog. The song has been picking up steam as it is currently featured on Spotify’s Internet People and Pressure playlists as well as Apple’s High Maintenance and The New Atlanta playlists. As she explains in the song, her peers should take note of all the early success she has achieved in the rap game.

“I ain’t talkin’ bout no groceries it's green up in my bag (my bag) / And you see that n*gga close to me that gun be by his flag / I got n*ggas that was over me that’s tryna double back (I’m straight) / Hoe be careful how you talk to me, cause you can’t take it back,” Rose raps over hard-hitting production by Lawson, Bl$$d, $aint Vincent, and ethanscott.

Rose’s last visual came in October for her song “Hood B**** Aesthetic,” which was a fitting return for the star. In the video, the rapper took viewers on a trip to Broward, Florida, where she explored the neighborhood and showed off her eclectic style that included a shiny gold grill. Outside of releases, Rose recently finished tearing up the stage as an opener on Sexyy Red’s cross-country Hood Hottest Princess tour. Since breaking out in 2019 with her viral hit single, "Big Mouth," Rose has been giving fans a fiery catalog of music powered by songs such as "He In His Feelings," "I Like," and "Wifey." The success of those singles put Rose on the radar of some of the industry’s heavy hitters, including, Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa, Latto, Flo Milli, and more.
