Siri Dahl is coming for Twitter and with good reason

Just to break character for a moment, I love being a creator. There’s nothing better than having full control of your content and expressing your thoughts to the masses unfiltered and with pure honesty. But sometimes the game doesn’t feel fair, notably when you ‘need’ to connect with your supporters on popular platforms like the social media giants of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok - plus about 30 other massive hot spots. Vixen Siri Dahl is sending a friendly reminder of no matter how popping you are, restrictions can be applied - unfairly in many cases - and you’re left to deal with correcting the matter.

Siri Dahl is going right at Twitter for the win

As much as Twitter gives the green light to share explicit and mind-blowing content to the masses, there are little rules and restrictions in place. Siri felt this the hard way courtesy of the platform actually suspending her account for donning knee-high boots and a bikini.

“I am ✨suspended✨on Twitter for wearing a bikini and tall boots in my profile photo. 🤦🏻‍♀️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m appealing the suspension rather than deleting the photo (which is an admission of guilt), so I won’t have Twitter access for a few days, until they review my appeal. I know the photo is within guidelines, so it should be fine in the end. I gained a ton of new followers last week, so I’m sure that there was some mass reporting of my account, which always happens with new growth bc the antis looooooove getting 🌽 stars banned from social media. They really do think they’re doing the Lord’s Work. 😂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s the same thing that happens repeatedly to every TikTok account I make. The same thing that happens to all of us in the 🌽 industry, regardless of how well we abide by each platform’s community guidelines. We are guilty by simply existing.”

But there’s always a solution

While the world awaits for Twitter to loosen up its policies, Siri reminds us there are always alternative ways to keep tabs on her content. After all, not everyone only has one mega platform they’re on.

“Anyway, tap my profile 🔗 to see where else you can find me on this increasingly puritanical shitshow called the “internet.” And thank you for following me here on my new Instagram account and consider sharing my page with a friend - I intend to keep this account as squeaky clean 🧼 as I can and I appreciate all of your follows, likes, shares and comments. 😘
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you @inamorata_photo for the gorgeous photo which I promise I’ll never stop sharing online 🥰”

Fake alert

It’s sometimes not just Twitter bugging Siri. Dahl’s also dealing with Instagram not properly monitoring fake accounts on its own platform.

“❗️FYI the_siri_dahl is a fake account. Block and report them. It’s disappointing that IG gives scammers free reign to do this, yet refuses to verify my *real* account, which would go a long way toward invalidating scammers. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️mood🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️”
