Drawing inspiration from brands’ individual style, the new launch will showcase an authentic appreciation of both creatives’ in this capsule driven by food, art and streetwear culture.

Both Grillo’s Pickles brand director Eddie Andre and Anwar have weighed in on this collabo officially launching to the masses.

“We’re definitely excited to launch this collection with Anwar and Urban Outfitters,” notes Eddie Andre, Grillo’s Director of Brand Experience. “We made pickled carrots back in 2010 so to have the opportunity to  work with Urban Outfitters and bring this collaboration to life is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while. I looked back and we’ve been talking about doing this since 2018! Fans loved the first collection at Extra Market so we’re excited to have this one more broadly available. We love connecting with artists, and introducing Grillo’s lifestyle to more people.Stay tuned for more throughout 2022”

“I remember buying Grillo’s Pickles with my wife at the grocery store and falling in love with them,” says designer Anwar. “I even posted a picture of myself eating them on Instagram and my buddy Lee Spielman of Babylon LA & Trash Talk commented ‘Those are my homies!’. Fast forward, Eddie Andre is at my crib taking photos of me and talking about how we could do something together. The reissue of the Carrots branding was a no brainer to me. I’m so grateful to be rocking with my favorite pickle company.”

"After the success of our first collaboration with Grillo's in February of 2020, we're thrilled to carry this exclusive co-created capsule with Grillo's and Anwar and to be able to celebrate the launch with an event at our store in the historic Rialto Theater in downtown Los Angeles,” says Patrick O'Donnell, Urban Outfitters’ Divisional Merchandise Manager of Men's Knit Tops & Accessories
