Want to impress crooner Tinashe with your deejaying skills? Turns out the popular crooner is coming through with her Match My Freak world tour and upping the fun by launching a contest to secure an opening deejay for each stop.

Tinashe is delivering an awesome deejaying contest for her ‘Match My Freak’ world tour

It’s low-key pretty genius with Tinashe giving deejays a chance to get involved in her cross-country run. The contest is also in partnership with audio powerhouse SoundCloud.

Multi-platinum-certified pop/R&B disruptor singer, songwriter, and dancer Tinashe announced her special contest for her Match My Freak World Tour. For the contest, Tinashe teamed up with SoundCloud, the global artist-first platform that empowers artists and fans to connect and share through music, in a first of its  kind partnership to identify an opening DJ for each upcoming tour stop. Looking for a DJ to match her freak, contestants will complete a submission form and make sure their SoundCloud profile is up to date, showcasing their talent. Produced by Live Nation, the run kicks off with the 23-date North American leg on October 14 in Anaheim. The tour will hit major cities including Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Nashville.
