Tory Lanez Is Laughing At Everyone Thinking He's In Jail
Rap crooner Tory Lanez isn’t behind bars - well, at least his Twitter fingers aren’t. The hip-hop star has stepped up to assure concerned and angry hip-hop heads alike he’s living his best life after appearing to hint at getting placed in jail over a possible probation violation.
Tory Lanez Is Safe + Sound
TL hit up his Twitter page to unload a flurry of positive updates. For starters, he made sure to let his fans know he’s in tears laughing at anyone thinking he went or is heading to the pen.
But it didn’t stop there. Lanez continued to unload updates on what’s currently happening with him. Along with announcing his 80’s-themed Alone At Prom album is near he also shared some uplifting words about how he now handles negative situations.
Tory Lanez Fades To Black - Literally
Hours prior, social media was low-key freaking out over the status of the controversial musician. Despite appearing blackballed dating back to summer 2020 for allegedly shooting ex-rap pal Megan Thee Stallion, he’s remained relevant in the public eye with endless new music, major collaborations and historic power moves including a first-ever NFT hip-hop album drop.
However, Lanez decided to pull the plug on his Instagram page keeping the account active but wiping the page completely clean of any content.
Tory Lanez Balls With Drake
The disappearance came following viral footage of Lanez and rap star Drake balling on a basketball court hitting the masses. These past couple of days both Tory and Drizzy have taken public shows at each other over their b-ball skills.
Tory Lanez Bail Increased
On a more serious topic, Tory is dealing with some pretty serious legal issues these days. Following a surprise Rolling Loud Miami performance with rap star DaBaby, a judge approved a bail increase in the Megan Thee Stallion case.
After being arrested last summer and subsequently charged for felony assault over an incident where he was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez was issued a protective order. A judge required for Lanez to refrain from contacting or coming within 100 yards of Megan Thee Stallion. Today, in a Los Angeles court appearance, a judge ordered Lanez to pay additional bail, saying he violated the protective order during his appearance at DaBaby’s Rolling Loud Miami set, Billboard and TMZ report. His bail was increased to $250,000 from $190,000. (Pitchfork)
