SteelSeries: The special edition SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 white collection is my Tuesday life-changer

SteelSeries for the win-win? Whether you’re a PlayStation for life or Xbox-only gamer, the audio giant continues to make gaming goals way better than Date Night ones, sorry bae, and it’s all thanks to the company’s evolution in headsets and making sure you’re getting more than just the best quality possible but comfort, design, everything in-between - which makes me proud to say… AND NEW… Arctis Nova 7 white collection.

I’m geeking - slightly tweaking - over my SteelSeries line-up. Yes, a little gassed up with the Photo of the Day section but aside from the awesomeness of the SteelSeries gear - which you can now level up your back to school and work fashion goals too with help from SteelSeries - and themed all-white everything cool items like the hand towel and thermos - I’m losing my fucking freaking (okay, you know I mean fucking but want to keep this PR-friendly even though I’ve now said fucking three times and you obviously see this long ass line) - MIND - I told three amazing SteelSeries people last week (hi Paul, Brian or is it Bryan and my girl Lily) how much I love my SteelSeries Arctis 7+ which was my introduction to the brand in 2021 and of course last year’s mind-blowing SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro - my gaming goals have been game-changing ever since but now?

2023.

Oh hell yeah, in the words of Stone Cold Steve Austin (throwback reference on a non-Throwback Thursday) - but let me talk to you (modern day L.A. Knight reference) - each year SteelSeries has honestly blown my mind with new innovations, of course along with the wireless keyboards and other gadgets but in the world of headsets? They’re what Apple is in the world of computers - sure we all love an Apple iPad and a new iPhone but when it comes to your go-to work - and fun - machine, they just do the damn thing.

I am in complete love with my Artcis Nova 7P Wireless white headset - now don’t worry all you Microsoft heads, the company has you covered too - not only with the Arctic Nova 7X Wireless headset but for both PlayStation and Xbox gamers alike, it’s your choice - all-white everything or are you more of the Xbox Series X and Carbon Black Series S type with the need for the all-black everything flex?

Cosmetics aside, for the price tag of $179.99 per unit, it better be more than a shiny toy, right? You already know. Well, actually - this is the perfect time to dig into the purchase options before geeking out heavily into the technology equipped with this game-changer:

Available at SteelSeries.com, and retailers around the world, the special-edition Arctis Nova 7X & 7P are available for the following MSRPs:

• Arctis Nova 7P Wireless (PlayStation) – US $179.99 | EMEA €199.99 | APAC $199.99

• Arctis Nova 7X Wireless (Xbox) – US $179.99 | EMEA €199.99 | APAC $199.99

• Nova Booster Packs (Speakers Plate + Headband) – US $34.99 | EMEA €34.99 | APAC $34.99

• SteelSeries Sonar Audio Suite – Free Download at: SteelSeries.com/gg/sonar

Now, with the price point out of the way, let’s justify the retail offering with how much jam-packed awesomeness comes loaded into the headset of your choice, yes? Yeah!

My favorite quality of the headset is the comfort - sorry, but I’m going to keep it 100 with you - I bike for two hours a day, daily - well, busy days amounts to just one hour but on average, 1-2 hours on any given day and while biking, I am gaming with one TV focused on live sports/movies/shows and the other being gaming goals:

Okay - just to be clear, the photo is throwback and the lower TV now is the size of the top one, but that’s a story for another post - the fact is I am gaming hard and let’s keep it 100, if it’s an intense Brooklyn Nets, New York Giants, New York Yankees or New Jersey Devils game - the biking gets even more intense so in regard to a comfortable headset - it’s vital. There’s nothing worse than realizing you’re wearing a headset - meaning something uncomfortable, itchy and simply not soothing to the ears - I’m proud to say SteelSeries has yet to ever product a headset I’ve experienced which made me uncomfortable or just want to take it off - credit the philosophy of if it’s not broken, don’t fix it - but rather enhance it.

Venture past the mundane into Almighty Audio with the Arctis Nova 7. Listen to two audio streams at once with simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, easily swapping between PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Switch with USB-C. Stay in the action with a 38-hour battery and a fast charge function, bringing 6 hours of use after just a 15-minute charge. Players will experience noise-free communications as AI-algorithms guide the ClearCast Gen 2 mic to clean up both incoming and outgoing audio in team chat. The ComfortMax System delivers 4 points of adjustability and breathable AirWeave Memory Foam cushions for marathon sessions on any platform. The original SteelSeries Arctis 7 was the most-awarded headset of all time… Welcome to the future of gaming audio. (Available in PlayStation and Xbox-specific models).

^ Ditto! Trust me, I wanted to word it myself but highlighting those quick tidbits and notably the ComfortMax System delivering four points of adjustability and breathable AirWeave Memory Foam cushions? Marathon gaming goals you say?

But also - I’ve never found myself being fearful of how much battery life was left on my headset. Nearly 40 hours of active battery life plus a super quick charge feature giving you 6 hours for the price of only roughly 15 minutes? Game-changing - no pun intended.

A really cool feature I’m getting the itch for because, you know, fashion goals and all - is the customization of the headbands and those super cool, now-signature speaker plates on each side.

Customization:

·       Nova Booster Packs (Speakers Plate + Headband) – Customization is key. Suit your style, mood, or outfit of the day and personalize the Nova 7 Wireless headphones with metallic speaker plates and a matching headband. Choose from Lilac, Mint, Red, and Rose Quartz.

Just so awesome - if you’re YG, you’ll easily go with the red color way and of course all of my WWE The Judgement Day fans will go with the Purple flex, no matter your go-to color, there’s a color way which works in your favor because as dating goals turns into family goals - you’re going to likely turn your mini-me into a gamer or at the very least, your bae, and there’s nothing which says ‘MINE and YOURS’ more than your go-to color especially when it’s a mad dash for a Grand Theft Auto Online and Call of Duty gaming session, right?

SteelSeries continues to blow my mind on a regular basis and of course it’s more than headsets - as mentioned earlier, the brand’s venture into apparel, epic keyboards and something really, really, really, really game-changing in the coming days (yup, I said it!) has me ride or die goals with them and it’s such a pleasure to introduce my day one Attack The Culture heads to this level of precision, technology and fucking awesomeness (no crossed out line, just having to keep it 100) that chokes me up with imaginary tears (because there’s no way I’m holding back those super masculine tears right now) because while the ops are alive and well steady keeping tabs on their glow ups, they continue to enhance the culture, attacking it with game-changing creations and innovation.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P and 7X are up for grabs over at SteelSeries.com right now.
