Streaming giant SoundCloud continues to push the culture forward and there’s no doubting hip-hop knows how much of a positive influence the platform has had in shaping careers. So it’s only right everyone from J.I.D, Smino and Armani White to KenTheMan and Soulection’s Joe Kay pulled through for an epic Next Wav Miami event.

Hosted by Miami’s very own Norma Now with music and vibes from DJ Spinelli, SoundCloud Next Wav Miami’s daytime programming included panels with creatives and industry experts like Tre Trax, Jake Markow, Joe Kay and more. Artists looking to level up their careers had access to free activations including a SoundCloud SoundBooth presented by Denny’s for attendees to record their own live freestyle and a portrait studio for professional photos with Miami photographer and creative director, Derik G. Attendees enjoyed food from Miami soul food restaurant Finga Licking and Caribbean restaurant Island Tings. 

99JAMZ Miami radio personality Supa Cindy was the host for the night, where attendees vibed out to sets by DJ PeeWee and Soulection’s Joe Kay, along with live performances from J.I.D, Smino, Armani White, and KenTheMan.
