Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today premieres a new video featuring British Circuit Racing driver Abbie Eaton and the 2023 British Rally Champion and WRC driver Adrien Fourmaux ahead of the November 3 launch of EA SPORTS™ WRC, the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship, for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via EA App, Epic Store, and Steam. The ‘Rally versus Racing’ content takes players beyond the virtual world, giving a unique insight into the skills needed to master a rally car and the pressures both driver and co-driver experience during a competition on some of the toughest terrain.
As a novice off-road multi-surface racer, Abbie is put through her paces both in the virtual and real worlds courtesy of 2023 WRC competitor Adrien Fourmaux. Gaining insight using EA SPORTS WRC, the current GT driver completes various tasks in preparation for tackling her first rally stage. From understanding how to launch from the line to mastering pace notes, Abbie learns all aspects of the role of the co-driver before swapping seats with the current British Rally Champion.
Following her maiden stage, Abbie Eaton said: “You have to work a lot harder in that than in a GT car. The game does teach you a lot. With the pace notes, it definitely made a difference to build up to it.”
Regarding EA SPORTS WRC’s authenticity, Adrien Fourmaux commented: “When I started rallying, I was 22. Before, I was playing video games, and I learned a lot from them. It’s really similar, and they are even better now with the new technology. It’s quite impressive.”

Combining Unreal Engine with the DiRT Rally series physics, players can compete across 13* official FIA World Rally Championship and five real-world inspired locations with over 600km of unforgiving asphalt, gravel, and snow stages.
