The Logitech G Cloud broke my heart after just 5 minutes

Long story short? After an additional five minutes I had the return label printed out and rushed to FedEx to return my Logitech G Cloud. As a proud gamer and someone who enjoys reviewing new releases, I jumped at the opportunity to take the gaming goals to a new type of device which held a lot of promise.

The moment I opened the box, I knew things would hurt. From the Android tablet-fueled appeal to the overwhelming push for everything Google across the device, I was turned off.

Then add in the fact the cloud-based titles don’t always look as appealing because you’re on the streaming service instead of the full-fledged actual game - yikes. Things felt blurry. There were moments of pauses. It was underwhelming.

This was at the three-minute mark.

The most crushing fact was how all of the games were easily accessible on my 12.9 inch iPad Pro - using my preferred controller I am comfortable with and making me realize for $300 from the pre-order discount, I could not justify the purchase.

I will continue to push for insanely cool technology but much like folks which love apartments versus full-fledged homes, it really is a matter of preference. Even my Nintendo Switch OLED is cute but I put in work-work when using my Nintendo Switch Pro controller and most times with it projected onto the screen.

I have about 30 minutes worth of thoughts about this rollout but fortunately YouTube creator RGT 85 does an excellent job explaining my same thoughts.
