We’re hours away from the weekend officially igniting but why wait for those vibes? Turns out rap artist Tony Shhnow is getting more than just lusty with the bars these days courtesy of anthems like his newly released ‘Tryna See’ tune.
The song goes hard and the confidence? Super insane. Peep the details and get caught up in the moment.
Tony Shhnow has just shared his new single "Tryna See". After premiering it on The Lot Radio yesterday, the new single "Tryna See" finds Tony Shhnow flexing his rapid-fire flow while enticing a love interest as he raps over the bass-boosted beat – "She came from stripping, she think that she Cardi / She kinda tall look like Megan thee Stallion / Tats on her body, she think she Kehlani / Nobody's perfect, I told her that honest". It follows his first single of the year "When You A Playa", and recent collab project with Florida rapper Robb Bank$, I Can't Feel My Face Too. After leaning into his more vulnerable artistic side on last year's Love Streak, his most ambitious project to date, Tony Shhnow has been keeping his foot on the gas – the release of "Tryna See" serves as a glimpse into his new era. Since emerging as a leader in pushing the boundaries of modern-day Hip-Hop, Tony Shhnow is effectively keeping his streak alive with each release – showcasing the artistic depth that has made him a household name throughout the 2020's.
After introducing Atlanta’s buzzing “plugg” sound to the Hip-Hop mainstream with his breakout hit “Vet” in 2020 (13M+ Streams), Tony Shhnow has consistently dropped music at a breakneck pace. Earning critical acclaim from the upper echelon of media from Rolling Stone to Pitchfork, The FADER, Stereogum and more, Tony Shhnow has solidified himself as an innovator in re-imagining the plugg sound while consistently displaying his dizzying raps with irreplaceable charisma. After sharing three projects in 2022 alone: Kill Streak 2 (Deluxe), Plug Motivation, and Reflexions, Tony Shhnow kept the momentum going last year with the release of Love Streak, on which he rapped with a sharp East Coast flair over new-age boom-bap production. The subsequent release of I Can't Feel My Face Too with Robb Bank$ reflected the multi-faceted artistry of Tony Shhnow – showcasing the unique combination of mesmerizing bar work and intimate reflections over atmospheric production.
