Turtle Beach: I'm fully geeking out with the new Kone II and Kone II Air on a Thursday

It’s a celebration around these parts and based on my love for Turtle Beach - it’s no shocker whenever the technology powerhouse is cooking up something fire, it’s going to receive ample love here. Well, forget a fire and consider the explosion of awesome coming courtesy of the new Kone II and Kone II Air - both officially releasing nationwide Friday, September 13.

With T.G.I.F. ‘this’ close to happening, I couldn’t wait and wanted to show proper love on these huge launches. Of course PHOTO OF THE DAY is paying proper love to the Kone II Wired and for the VIDEO OF THE DAY approach, it’s all about the power of the Kone II Air.

Lightweight.

Comfortable AF.

Awesome.

Um….. did I mention FREAKING WIRELESS!?!?

Okay - so it’s more than the wireless feature of this awesome counterpart to the Kone II because if you read how much I love the wired up version, you’ll see I am a huge fan of both. But my goodness - the ability to not have to dangle around wires and oh yes - 350 hours of battery life? I’m completely sold on the wireless version of the Kone II Air!

Of course though - there’s plenty of things to love about what Kone II Air has to offer including the 21 customizable inputs - just like the Kone II wired version - but what really makes this go the extra mile is the TITAN Switch Optical for a tactile feel with optical speed plus heat-treated PTFE glides for those super smooth and creamy movements - not to mention the 100 million click lifecycle you’re guaranteed. Whew - I’m getting way over the top - Turtle Beach, mind chiming in and letting me get a breather? I’m geeking out way too much:

I know, I know - you can easily see the price point and wonder if you’re better off with the wired version - and it really just comes down to your level of play and the distance you’re willing to go. For beginners - heck, I can’t lie to you - it’s all about the Kone II Air experience. Keep in mind - even with the wireless version, if there’s something you’re concerned about like wanting a stronger connection for certain games and activities, you can always plug right in and go wired - it’s the luxury of not needing to which takes this over the top.

I’m completely sold on this experience - a bigger and more durable mouse than previous gaming ones I’ve had the luxury of checking out and this one really gets the job done. Sturdy. Lightweight. Game-changing - literally.

As mentioned already - the Kone II and Kone II Air both officially drop Friday, September 13. Secure your pre-order and orders here!
