EarthGang & T-Pain: The crew link up for a gaming goals-inspired 'Love You More' music video

Who wants slow and romantic vibes right now now when you can fully turn up? Look no more than losing your mind to rap crew EarthGang and T-Pain showing out with their ‘Love You More’ audio gem. But more than a song, how about a vixen-filled music video? Say less.

It’s pure energy and turn up flexing going down. Tap in.

2x Grammy-nominated, platinum-certified, indie rap duo EarthGang are thrilled to share the music video for hit single “Love You More featuring T-Pain with fans. Originally released on October 11th, “Love You More” serves as the lead single from EarthGang’s freshly minted album Perfect Fantasy which dropped a couple weeks ago.

With T-Pain's signature smooth vocals and EarthGang's unique flair, “Love You More” remains a fan favorite from Perfect Fantasy, as it continues to gain momentum across streaming platforms. The track has earned wide recognition across media outlets, with Wonderland Magazine featuring it in their coveted weekly “Wonderlist,” where they praised the collaboration:

“EarthGang’s talent for seamlessly blending styles is apparent as T-Pain’s polished melodies create space for EarthGang’s sleek flow and bars to shine. Combining the essences of these two powerhouses of hometown hip-hop has produced a bouncing and seductive track, sure to stand out as a classic collab.”

In keeping with that same energy, the visuals for “Love You More” takes fans deeper into EarthGang’sPerfect Fantasy universe, delivering an experience that further elevates this infectious and sultry anthem. It starts off on a playful note, with digitized characters of Olu AKA Johnny Venus and WowGr8 AKA DocturDot sitting down to play a video game. From there, T-Pain welcomes them to their new reality against a stark white backdrop. DocturDot and Johnny Venus’ characters find themselves playing their real selves with T-Pain as he leads viewers into a provocative world filled with NSFW moments straight out of an Atlanta strip club. The visuals flip between the animated and real-life versions of the trio as they vibe alongside voluptuous dancers who dominate the screen in sensual close-ups. Pixelated text and hearts express their awe in the simplest of terms like "woah," "more," “power boost,” and "level up." All the while, the bouncy melody of “Love You More” keeps the tone light and engaging amid the striking visuals, making it increasingly difficult not to dance along.

Created in partnership with brand development studio SATIN HEART, the “Love You More” music video is a nostalgic ode to Y2K split screen gaming with a Tokyolanta twist. Custom-designed Perfect Fantasyvideo game characters bring T-Pain, DocturDot, and Olu to life, fully immersing viewers in the interactive vision. The release of the video offers another glimpse into EarthGang's new era, keeping fans on their toes as the duo unveils each step of the album’s creative rollout. Staying true to the music’s deeper themes, the vibrant visuals depict a world where technology enhances life in an enjoyable way—rather than as a data-driven necessity.

Renowned for their infectious energy and dynamic performances, EarthGang shared their fourth LPPerfect Fantasy on Tuesday, October 29th along with the lively music video for “U Gotta” featuring Pharrell. The lush and cosmic 18-track medley features a carefully curated list of top-tier collaborators including Damon Alburn, Pharrell, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Cochise, Eric Bellinger, and Little Dragon and is the first full-length project they’ve released independently. In its entirety, Perfect Fantasy explores thought-provoking & complex themes of human creativity and artistic expression in today’s digital age, drawing inspiration from Japanese culture as a technologically more advanced society in a term EarthGang has coined "Tokyolanta."

DoctorDot shared previously “Perfect Fantasy is the ultimate summation of our “EarthGang vs. the Algorithm” campaign. If you think of our journey like a video game and the algorithm is the Boss, then this album would be our Boss Battle. Through soundscape, packaging, delivery and nuance we take a meta approach to the method of shattering the norms that harm the craft we love so dearly.”

Olu added, “Perfect Fantasy is an album honoring the free spirit of creativity. We got inspiration from our favorite singers, anime, musicians, and producers to provide a gallery of sounds for the special moments in life. We decided to say f*** the algorithm, break traditional rules, and create the music that inspired us to do what we love.”

The project has been widely well received so far with critical acclaim from NPR, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, FADER, Hypebeast, iHeart, CLASH, XXL, UPROXX, Essence, VIBE, BET, and more. Last month, EarthGang kicked off the Perfect Fantasy countdown with an exclusive listening event on October 23rd in New York at Studio 151 followed by a special performance in Mexico City on the album release date, October 29th, where fans had the opportunity to be among the first to experience the magic of Tokyolanta. Next up, EarthGang will be returning to Tokyo, where they shot the majority of the album’s creative content this summer, for a very special celebration to close out the year on December 5th. The duo recently announced they will be taking off in January 2025 for the Perfect Fantasy Europe Tour with North American tour dates to share very soon.
