Literally hours away from going to see Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and I just realized Idris Elba is the insanely amazing actor taking on the role of playing Knuckles. Heck. Freaking. Yes. Geek moment of course but when you consider how much fun the 2020 flick turned out to be and the expectations going higher for this thrill ride? Giddy up.

A new behind the scenes feature shows Elba talking about taking on the role and what the movie is serving up to folks nationwide starting tomorrow.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Movie is speeding its way towards theaters soon, and IGN can debut an exclusive featurette focused on Idris Elba's Knuckles. Check out some new footage of the sequel and see Knuckles in action, and find out what role this iconic Sega character has to play in the sequel. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 also stars Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, James Marsden, and Natasha Rothwell. Jeff Fowler directed the film with a script by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington. The movie will debut in theaters on Friday, April 8, 2022.
