Li Rye: The New 1017 standout ignites the energy levels with his '26L' music video

There’s no time to cut around the bushes when it comes to hip-hop artist Li Rye. The rap hitmaker comes through with more than just hunger courtesy of a hard-hitting ‘26L’ single and music video.

The visual, directed by DEADEND, shows glimpses of Rye performing to a raving crowd and rapping about maintaining true to who he is at the core while managing to gain popularity for his music. 

In addition to “26L,” Rye is also gearing up to unleash his upcoming mixtape, OverKill, next Wed., May 8! The tape will consist of Rye’s most recent singles along with additional scorching new tracks.

The track “26L” follows Rye’s recently released singles JB & Rod,” “Banned From Where,” “Hey Sexyy” and “Casualty”. The fan-favorite video for “Casualty” accumulated over 1 million YouTube views in just three weeks and currently sits at over 3.4 million views.

The Mobile, AL native has been hard at work with consistent releases, proving he’s next up from his hometown. In addition to his prolific music drops, he totes the line between somber tones and hard-hitting street rhymes which has earned him a substantial fanbase

This past December, Li Rye dropped his debut album on 1017Li Rye vs. Li Reezy. The album gave fans a more personal look into Rye’s life and thoughts while he battles his two personalities. Li Rye vs. Li Reezy featured 19 tracks and included the hit singles Rental Cars,” Rookie Of The Year and Broke Asf.

Last summer, Rye released his debut mixtape on the label Go Li Rye along with the deluxe offering and Go Li Rye Part III. The debut mixtape has currently garnered 35M+ US streams and counting. The tape’s stand out single “Rental Cars” peaked at #6 on Spotify’s Local Pulse New Orleans Chart. Additionally, the Rental Cars sped-up version surpassed 13M views on TikTok. 

Since signing to Gucci Mane’s 1017 label, Rye’s star has been steadily on the rise and the numbers are the proof in the pudding. Li Rye continues to solidify his place in the rap scene with over 48M+ US streams and 36M+ YouTube views thus far.
