Bird Box Barcelona: Netflix is going back to the 2018 game-changing flick for some random magic

It’s all about perspective so either you’re super blown away by the idea of the Bird Box franchise coming back or you’re high-key concerned Netflix is running out of originality and trying to cash-in on something that’ll make those stocks go up, right? Fortunately for Date Night or Nahhh…. all you have to worry about is if this is worthy of calling up bae and setting up a Date Night at home - spoiler alert? Definitely.

Regardless of the true motivation behind the franchise coming back, Netflix’s decision to spark an entire flick based on the Sandra Bullock game-changing flick is reason enough to keep things indoors with bae and see if this movie can match the original’s originality and awesomeness. Lock in July 14.

From the producers of the global phenomenon, Bird Box, comes BIRD BOX BARCELONA, an expansion of the film that riveted audiences in 2018. After a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, Sebastian must navigate his own survival journey through the desolate streets of Barcelona. As he forms uneasy alliances with other survivors and they try to escape the city, an unexpected and even more sinister threat grows.
