Downtown Disney District: There's plenty of updates to ignite new experiences and dining options

Who says you can’t have a solid Date Night out at the Downtown Disney District? Turns out there are big updates going down to help provide new experiences and dining options for you and bae.

From more restaurant options and quick-service options, you’re all good whether you’re down to marinate the cuffing season goals or need to head back for some luxury room activities.

Two new renderings were released depicting the previously announced Parkside Market, a curated collection of four diverse culinary concepts from Levy Restaurants, all under one roof.

Plans were also announced for an all-new, two-story Earl of Sandwich location, with a quick-service Earl of Sandwich shop on the ground level and a table-service gastropub upstairs. More details will be shared at a later date. In the meantime, a temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up will open soon near Star Wars Trading Post.

A new quick-service location, Tiendita, will join Paseo and Céntrico at the center of the district – with all three opening later this spring. Tiendita will offer Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán’s Mexican street food staples on-the-go.

As the Downtown Disney District evolves, guests have dozens of restaurants, snack stops, boutiques and entertainment venues available to enjoy now. Notably, the new Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and lawn feature seasonal and specialty performances throughout the year; guests can check Disneyland.com for the latest entertainment schedule.
