Fandango: The Top 10 most anticipated holiday flicks of course include Wicked, Red One and Gladiator II

Feel like hitting up theaters this holiday season? Turns out there’s ample reasons to overload on popcorn with everything from Wicked and Gladiator II lined up to hit the big screen to action-packed fun like Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Kraven The Hunter locked in.

It’s all coming courtesy of Fandango delivering the huge Top 10 list. Buckle up.

Fandango, the nation’s leading online movie ticketing service, announced the results of its 2024 Most Anticipated Holiday Movies Survey today, with many exciting new releases heading to theaters for fans to enjoy. In a survey of more than 2,000 ticket buyers, Fandango found that over 80% of moviegoers are planning to watch at least one film in theaters during this festive time of year.

After last year’s “Barbenheimer” box office phenomenon, moviegoers are eager to see what films will make up the next big theatrical duo. According to Fandango’s latest survey, “Glicked” might be the answer, with Wicked andGladiator II both opening in theaters on November 22nd. Could these two films be the next theatrical double feature powerhouse – with nearly 65% of moviegoers interested in seeing both films saying they would like to see a “double feature” during the opening weekend in theaters.

Moviegoers were also asked questions about their favorite Thanksgiving and Christmas titles. The results included:

For movie lovers looking to get further into the holiday spirit, Rotten Tomatoes will feature a variety of new content in November and December, including watch lists and holiday-themed Fandango gift cards.
