Terrifier 3: Damien Leone doesn't hold back dishing on a mind-blowing Art the Clown concept

At this point, you’ve probably seen at least one version of The Terrifier films. With three in the books, it’s only right to geek out with creator Damien Leone letting loose on the franchise.

Talking about the newest film to going all in on the first flick, it’s pure epic.

Terrifier 3: Your low-key fave horror crazy man Art the Clown is back this October

I normally don’t freak out when it comes to horror movies but something about Art the Clown? My goodness. Always scary and the right type of over the top craziness so prepare yourself for a jam-packed Terrifier 3 movie.

Test your bae goals by going to see 'Terrifier 2' this weekend

I normally don't forcefully suggest things but my goodness - after seeing Terrifier 2 last night and lasting nearly three hours - with the bonus post-credits interview segment with creator Damien Leone, my goodness, was it a blast.

It’s honestly the type of movie you just have to lose your mind to. I compare it to going to Halloween Horror Nights for the first time ever in October 2017. Nerve-racking because you don’t know what to expect - ample scares but it’s the adrenaline rush you find yourself loving and wanting annually.

The same is true now with my love for the Terrifier franchise. The first time I saw the movie back in 2018, possibly 2019, I was disgusted but couldn’t help but keep watching. There was a sense of beauty in this accidentally viewed movie when it was briefly on Netflix.

Fast-forward to the momentum its sequel has created - to the point it’s had its cinematic run extended and added to additional theaters? Insanely amazing.

So finally making the time to pull through on a scurry Thursday night at easily one of the scurriest movie theaters I frequent? Epic.

From the opening sequence to how it all came together - minus a bunch of ‘Stranger Things’-feeling moments - it’s an incredible thrill ride. If you can handle silly gore and blood-gushing things, you’ll be fine and no need to worry about the ‘puking and passing out’ cautions some outlets have claimed.

Horror movies are almost a guaranteed Date Night-approved rating from me but after viewing Halloween Ends? Yikes. And the way Devil May Prey is currently being looked at? There are doubts.

Secure the ‘fun’ bae in your life down to have an all-out night - or day, but honestly way more fun in the evening - of fun especially in the final days of October. Let’s be honest, horror movies are great year-round but there’s nothing more in season than seeing a scary flick in October. It’s like seeing your favorite Christmas movie in August. It just doesn’t hit the same.

Verdict: Date Night
