Talk To Me: A24 gives the green light for the sequel in signature A24 fashion
The $10 million box office weekend alone should have been the dead giveaway but now it’s official - the amazing director brothers Danny and Michael Philippou are running it back with A24 for an immediate follow-up to their overnight Talk To Me success flick.
While details are scarce at best - it’s all about geeking out and getting hyped for the sequel.
A24 is reteaming with Danny and Michael Philippou for the sequel to their horror breakout film of the summer Talk to Me.
Talk 2 Me will be written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman, and directed by Danny and Michael Philippou.
Talk To Me is setting new records in the box office with the second biggest opening weekend for the studio. The film world premiered at this year's Sundance and was a festival breakout, and continues to receive a rapturous response from critics and audiences alike (94% Rotten Tomatoes).
Talk to Me is produced by Causeway Films’ Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton.
The film joins A24 horror franchises like Ti West's X trilogy, with the upcoming film MaXXXine starring Mia Goth, Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
