The Mummy: The legendary 1999 movie is really coming back to theaters

Big facts? I’m low-key certain the return of so many throwback and vintage flicks has nothing to do with a pandemic like it did in 2020. Movies like The Mummy and the Star Wars flicks all returning to the big screen? Hollywood in panic mode?

Now it could all still stem from last year’s publicized writers and actors strikes but something about the ability to throw on a re-run (hi, ‘Andy Griffith Show’) and bank on concessions? Just saying. Regardless of the motivation, a flashback Date Night? Sign me up.

#TheMummy is heading back to theaters!
This year marks 25 years of the monster movie classic starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, and they're celebrating by heading back to the big screen.
