Drake Calls J. Cole One Of The "Greatest Rappers" Ever
Toronto rap star Drake is giving J. Cole his flowers. After making a surprise visit to the North Carolina rapper’s “The Off-Season” Tour opener in Miami, Drizzy made his stance on Cole’s musical ability clear.
Drake Call J. Cole One Of The "Greatest Rappers" Ever
The 6 God called J. Cole one of the greatest rappers to ever touch a microphone and showed mad appreciation. It was nothing but love between the two as they both tore up the stage. Drake also brought out 21 Savage, the other headliner on Cole’s tour, for Certified Lover Boy track “Knife Talk,” and it’s safe to assume fans went home happy that night.
“I just like, I gotta say this just cause I don’t always wanna have a heartfelt moment when we’re on stage together and shit. But you did the “Pipe Down” freestyle the other day, right? You said in the freestyle about they handed you the bronze and whatever whatever, me and Kendrick. I want you to understand something. You are without a doubt one of the greatest rappers to touch a mic. I wanna let you know, there’s way too many people in the world that think and know J. Cole is at the top of the pole position. I love you with all my heart, you’re my brother, you’re one of my favorite artists and I appreciate you having me out here.”
J. Cole Back To Bless Us W/ Some Summer Heat
It is far from The Off-Season for J. Cole. The Dreamer has been popping up places left and right, from headlining Rolling Loud to kicking off his tour with frequent collaborator 21 Savage. In addition to dropping single “Heaven’s EP,” in which he rapped over the beat from CLB song “Pipe Down,” he cooked up something with fellow Dreamville artist Bas and New York rapper Lil Tjay. Cole has also collaborated with Joyner Lucas on the Massachusetts rapper’s new “Your Heart” track.
In early July 2021, the rappers all took to their Instagram accounts to announce the release of “The Jackie” by Bas featuring J. Cole and Lil Tjay. Lil TJay seems to be the most excited, calling it “Song of the summer?” in his repost of the Tik Tok he made teasing the song.
“My body different stop f*cking playing with me !! lol Jackie dropping July 9th @bas @realcoleworld Song of the summer ???”

Diddy + J. Cole Officially Bury The Hatchet Over 2013 Fight
Just in case it wasn’t clear, hip-hop mogul Diddy and the Grammy-winning rapper have moved past any old beef. Lyrics from Cole’s The Off-Season album brought back memories of the two music icons throwing hands years ago, but Diddy’s social media post from June 2021 suggests there are no more ill feelings.
On J. Cole’s song “Let Go Of My Hand” from The Off-Season, he raps about a fight he got into with Diddy back in 2013. Bringing it up on the album sparked rumors of J. Cole and S. Combs still having static, but Diddy posted the Instagram pic to squash any further speculation.
“With LOVE. @realcoleworld”
