The torch is carried on in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' and it's a must-own

Goals have been met, and now it's time to get back to contributing to the homie who runs Attack The Culture! It's good to be back writing for fun again versus being graded and evaluated. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is here on digital platforms and DVD/Blu-ray. It was the end of an era when we lost THE Black Panther in Chadwick Boseman. The torch is carried on in Wakanda Forever. The movie itself is worth the purchase, but here are a few more things you will get when you own Wakanda Forever instead of just the streaming service.

We saw the creation of Wakanda in the first Black Panther movie which was already groundbreaking and incredible. Now, we go into the depths of what Wakanda is really about after losing their king. It almost seemed like paradise above ground, whereas now, Ryan Coogler took us on a journey underwater to Namor's underwater paradise in Atlantis. How the vision comes full circle is amazing to see from the creators. We see a new world which will definitely come into play as we progress through this phase of the MCU.

The movie is great the way it is, so imagine having to be the one to edit out some scenes. The deleted scenes add some extra depth to characters as they are still dealing with the loss of T'Challa. For me, one stuck out which was an interaction between Okoye and Shuri after the events of the movie take place. I won't spoil it, but it was great to see these two work together.

The passing of the torch to Shuri from T'Challa pulls on the heartstrings a bit. As they decided to continue the story, there needs to be buy in from you, the fans, to invest in her as the new Black Panther. She played the hell out of her role. Shuri showed she can hold her own against a super villain. Also, having to battle demons of the past in Kilmonger (my favorite MCU villain) to figure out how she is to lead her nation. What will we see next from this character? The torch is hers now, will we continue to shout Wakanda Forever? I will especially after seeing how they made her the central role.

Next time you're out looking for a movie or scrolling through the movies, take your remote control and cop Wakanda Forever or throw the DVD/Blu-ray in your cart. Support, OSCAR WINNING ANGELA BASSETT! She went out and crushed it again! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray with exclusive collectible editions and also streaming on Digital.
