Detroit rap mainstay, Cash Kidd, just released his new single and music video, "Irreplaceable," from his upcoming album, No Socks 3. The star-studded album is set to release later this September to align with Cash Kidd's 10-city No Socks Tour which kicks off September 29th. Cash Kidd has already put up impressive streaming numbers this year following the breakout success of his latest album, BeBe Kidd 3. He's an artist that is said to be "your favorite rapper's favorite rapper" and he continuously earns comparisons to Lil Wayne for the originality of his punchlines, albeit his sound is uniquely his own. As Detroit has become the modern epicenter of rap, Cash Kidd has been instrumental in shaping the style of music that has become synonymous with the city.

The "Irreplaceable" video is directed by Proxclusiv and gives a glimpse of life on the road as Cash Kidd performs and signs autographs for eager fans. The release comes on the heels of recent videos for "Jinx!" and "Ears Bleeding" which both dropped earlier this summer.

Earlier this year, Cash Kidd released his acclaimed album, BeBe Kidd 3, which was stacked with features from E-40, Drakeo The Ruler, Babyface Ray, Payroll Giovanni, BlueBucksClan and many more. BeBe Kidd 3 was named as one of “The Best Albums of Spring 2023” by i-D who wrote that Cash Kidd “embodies everything that makes the city’s rap music great. His mix of razor sharp wit, detailed scene-setting and earnest emotions makes him an artist whose discography is a joy to dive into, and BeBe Kidd 3 is a perfect place to start.”

Cash Kidd has started to get more widespread recognition as more high profile artists have been giving him his flowers. In their recent interview with Complex, BabyTron and Babyface Ray showed their respect and name dropped Cash Kidd alongside Lil Wayne when asked about the GOAT rap punchlines. Cash Kidd's had an eventful year with his latest album and a steady stream of new releases including high profile collaborations such as “OH BOY” with Kash Doll, “Out The Gutter” with Heembeezy and “GEEKALEEK” with OhGeesy. As time goes on, it’s becoming evident that Cash Kidd has played a vital role in continuing the lineage of great punchline rappers.
