Crock-Pot: The stunner Camila Alves McConaughey is whipping up game day recipes

Starting today, Camila Alves McConaughey is joining forces with the Crock-Pot© brand to celebrate the launch of its newMultiMeal Multicooker.

As tailgating season heats up, the Brazilian-American model and designer, known for her passion for cooking, is kicking off the partnership by highlighting her go-to dip recipe for gameday hosting: Camila’s Black Bean Dip with Seared Chorizo. See below for the full recipe for this crowd-pleasing app. 

Camila’s Black Bean Dip with Seared Chorizo Multicooker Recipe 

Prep Time: 7-10 minutes

Cook Time: 30-45 minutes

Number of servings: 6 servings 

Ingredients:

For Cooking:  

·         1 can refired black beans  

·         8 0z Mexican chorizo 

·         2 strips smoked bacon (small diced) 

·         1 ½ teaspoon Chipotle peppers in adobo chopped 

·         1 jalapeno diced and seeded 

·         4oz Cream cheese 

·         1 cup white onion diced 

·         1clove garlic chopped 

·         1/2 cup diced tomatoes 

·         1 cup milk 

·         1 teaspoon smoked paprika 

·         ½ cup water  

·         1 teaspoon salt 

For Serving:  

·         Tortilla chips 

·         Green onion & shredded cheese for garnish 

·         Queso Fresco 

·         Crudité  

Instructions

1.       Set one side of multicooker to Sear/Sauté on HI and allow the pot to preheat for about 7-10 minutes. 

2.       Place chorizo and bacon in the Crock-Pot and sear until brown (Suggestion to use learn chorizo, when possible, if not available, leave desired amount of fat or 2 TBLSP) 

3.       Switch settings to slow cook by pressing down the “1” or the “2” pot symbol (depending on which side of the multicooker being used)  

4.       Add onions and garlic and bring to sweat.  

5.       Add black beans, tomatoes, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and seasoning in with the onions and garlic and set to Slow Cook covered for 30-45 minutes. 

6.       Check bean dip side about mid-way through, stirring contents. 

7.       Keep pre-made dip on Keep Warm setting so that both dips will be ready at the same time.  

8.       Once the bean dip is warmed through and homogenous, garnish with shredded cheese, green onion, and queso fresco. Serve with tortilla chips and crudité.
