It’s all types of must-see moments and major glowing up from start to finish. Tap in.
Coming off the high from headlining Spotify’s Most Necessary Show, Florida’s biggest stepper, Danny Towers, returns with his confidence-boosting track “One”out now.
Tapping into his inner demon, Danny unleashes a menacing flow, laced with venomous lyrics, giving his opps a heavy reminder of who sits at number 1: “I’m not the two, or the three, I’m the one.” Over a sinister bassline, the Florida emcee confidently swaggers while flexing his signature bone rasp growl.
“One” is the follow-up to Danny’s track “DOUBLE PARK,” a Plugg-influenced banger with contributions from the genre stalwart Robb Bank$. These singles are a taste of Danny’s new direction since the release of his album Safe House, his collaboration album with longtime friend DJ Scheme, home to the viral single, "Florida Water" ft. Luh Tyler & Ski Mask The Slump God, which earned praise from XXL, Stereogum, HotNewHipHop, and more. Florida Water" inspired a photo dump trend on TikTok, where creators drop the flyest selfies in their Photos app as the beat drops and Danny’s infectious hook, “Threw him in that water, I’m from Florida, but my wrist Cuban,” gives way to Luh Tyler’s croaking verse. Peaking at #1 on TikTok's trending charts, the song generated over 200k video creations on TikTok, over 35 million streams on all platforms, and reached the top spot on SoundCloud's daily chart.
