EA Sports WRC: Here's some pretty mind-blowing stats to celebrate the must-play game's one-year anniversary

I love my traditional sports titles but there’s something even more special about what’s served up courtesy of EA Sports’ WRC with rally racing and crushing it in the trenches. A full year in the books and more fun to come? How about kicking back and checking out some impressive stats 12 months in? Say less.

It’s a massive celebration for EA Sports’ standout title and I’m here to geek out. Peep the deets.

EA SPORTS™ WRC commemorates its one-year anniversary and reflects on a year of thrilling rallies across dynamic stages and unparalleled in-game community engagement. The data reveals fans’ favorite cars, events, classes and most active nations in the official game of the World Rally Championship™.

Players across the globe have been rallying and braving the elements in pursuit of the perfect run. The fan-favorite Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 HYBRID claimed the top spot as the most popular car, closely followed by the Ford Puma Rally1 HYBRID and Ford Fiesta Rally3. Players from France, United States and Finland have proven to be the fastest, with Australian and Portuguese fans in close pursuit. Rallye Monte Carlo ranked as the most coveted location throughout the year, with Rally Portugal and Rally Finland not far behind in popularity.

“We’re celebrating one year since EA SPORTS™ WRC launched, and we’re so thankful for the community support and enthusiasm of our players over the past 12 months” said Matthew Battison, Creative Director at Codemasters. “We’re excited to continue extending our in-game content for players, through the WRC 24 Season Expansion and subsequent DLC in 2025”.
