Poundside Pop's 'Wock and Roll (Purple Edition)' is streaming everywhere

Could you use a splash of new audio? It’s a new music Friday so of course there’s plenty of new tunes streaming including Philadelphia hip-hop artist Poundside Pop with his Wock and Roll (Purple Edition) album.

While only 10 songs deep, the new effort hits hard and even has the presence of Philadelphia representer DJ Drama on it. Check out the details and start streaming at your leisure.

Positioned for a major breakthrough, rising Philadelphia phenomenon Poundside Pop presents a brand-new project entitled, WOCK AND ROLL (PURPLE EDITION), today via Epic Records

He preceded the ten-track collection with the single “Money & Power. The song illuminates the punchy power of his revved-up and raw delivery as he amplifies his slick signature style. The project begins with the intoxicating “Whole Lotta Purple,” them dips into “Killer’s Lullaby,” flexes deft dynamics on “Karate Class” and climaxes with an affirmation on the fiery finale “Keep Going Hard.

In addition to attracting DJ Drama to his corner, he has earned other major cosigns. Gillie & Wallo from the Million Dollar’s Worth of Game podcast called him one of the hottest rappers out of Philly during an interview with Yo Gotti.

Poundside Pop has quietly gathered millions of streams and views independently, building a reputation as Philly’s next hip-hop hero. DJ Booth named him among “10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now, and NPR included him among its “Heat Check: Euphoric Shuffle Play.” Now, he’s knocking on the door of stardom.
