UBS, a global leader in financial services operating in over 50 countries, will present a once in a lifetime experience that will bring music enthusiasts into the studio to create their own unique track with GRAMMY winning singer-songwriter, producer and recording artist, Rico Love. The event will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 11:00am-9:00pm CT.
This intimate mentoring session will take attendee’s beyond a masterclass but as an exclusive invitation directly into Rico’s creative world, learning his process for building songs start to finish while creating something special of their own. Over the course of an entire day, fans will step into the lab, where creativity knows no bounds, where they will learn directly from one of the industry’s most acclaimed hitmakers. Special Invited guests include music powerhouses Jim Jonsin (Beyonce, Usher, Mary J Blige), Tay Keith (Drake, Travis Scott, Eminem) and Mams Taylor (Snoop Dogg, Travis Barker, T-Pain).
Rico Love is a four-time Songwriter of the Year and multi-GRAMMY nominated songwriter/producer who has made significant contributions to the music industry. In addition to writing and producing hits for artists like Usher, Nelly, Trey Songz, and Kelly Rowland, Rico also served as GRAMMY Vice Chairman for two years. He now holds the prestigious position of Chairman of the GRAMMY's Black Music Collective. Rico's influence extends beyond the recording studio as he currently serves as the musical director for two major television shows, "The Black Hamptons" and "Carl Weber's Family Business: New Orleans."
His collaborative work includes the song "Twerk" for the City Girls featuring Cardi B, as well as Usher's popular singles "Boyfriend" and "Stone Kold Freak." Further demonstrating his leadership, Rico founded the We Love Music Conference, an influential platform bringing together aspiring artists, producers, and industry veterans to foster innovation and growth in the music landscape. Rico's notable achievements include his work on GRAMMY Award-winning albums such as Beyoncé's "I Am... Sasha Fierce," Usher's "Raymond v. Raymond," and more.
