Snotty Nose Rez Kids & Travis Thompson: The new 'KALEIDOSCOPE' anthem sets the tone for a 'RED FUTURE' album

It’s still technically spring but how about getting some summer-ready anthems brewing? Look no further than what’s coming courtesy of Snotty Nose Rez Kids and Travis Thompson and their ‘KALEIDOSCOPE’ anthem.

What more could you want than a fire single? How about hype for a new album to follow? Say less and peep the details.

Indigenous voices are brought to center stage yet again as Canadian duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids tap Travis Thompson to team up for their new single “KALEIDOSCOPE” produced by Eestbound (Travis Scott’s Antidote, Little Simz, Young Thug), and paired with a futuristic, vibey visualizer.

“KALEIDOSCOPE” is an anthem of the hero's journey towards success in the music industry. As the track kicks off with Travis’s buoyant chorus singing of the sacrifices to

make dreams a reality and encouragement to do so, he invites listeners on a journey of beating the odds and coming up from nothing while being counted out.
On a trip to Vancouver to visit Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Travis and the duo filmed the vibrant colored, psychedelic visual. The hallucinogenic imagery is bound to take you on a trip as you enter the optical illusion of their journey and enter deeper into the RED FUTURE visual world.

Yung Trybez, one half of Snotty Nose Rez Kids, describes:

“We’ve been seeing each other do the damn thang for years, we’ve always had respect for each other and always wanted to get one together. After linking up on a tour together last year, it was only natural we get in the stu. We set a date for Travis to come to Vancouver and he went back to Seattle with KALEIDOSCOPE. This is one of our favorite songs off this album and we feel it perfectly blends our styles.”

Snotty Nose Rez Kids and Travis portray a world where it's exhilarating to prove people wrong and where focusing on your goals and doing what makes you happy is the only world these Hip-Hop heads live in - a message we can all relate to.

With a busy Fall ahead, Snotty Nose Rez Kids announce their sixth studio album ‘RED FUTURE’ set to be released on September 13th, 2024. Tickets to their big multi-artist hometown show in Vancouver on September 21st at the Malkin Bowl will go on sale Friday, June 7th.

Along with being trailblazers in the music industry, Snotty Nose Rez Kids have entered the world of television, announcing a new show about their come up in Hip-hop coming out next year on CBC Gem + APTN. Yung Trybez and Young D are Creators, Executive Producers, Story Consultants and will be doing the music for the scripted comedy series. Announced on May 23rd, the series follows the almost true, real-life story of the dynamic duo chronicling their tireless hustle and chaotic journey to stardom.
