The new doc is packed with intense details and behind-the-scenes footage of SoFaygo’s breakout success all through the lens of the Atlanta-based filmmaker. Check out the official details below and stay tuned for the upcoming YouTube premiere.

“First on SoundCloud” artist and emerging rapper SoFaygo has teamed up with SoundCloud for the world premiere of his short documentary “Let’s Go Faygo,” capturing the details and behind-the-scenes footage of a young artist on the brink of breakout success. Co-produced by SoundCloud and SoFaygo, the video features the directing talents of Atlanta-based Producer Maya Table, an Atlanta based producer, director, and one of Adweek’s top 100 creative visionaries.

“Let’s Go Faygo” details the days leading up to a massive moment in SoFaygo’s career - his first-ever, sold-out show in his hometown of Atlanta this past summer.  Capturing intimate moments between SoFaygo and his team - including co-managers Barry Hefner and Lamaar - the documentary sees SoFaygo navigate sound check, interviews, and everything that comes with such a big milestone, reflecting on his wild ride from first upload to first performance. Upon the realization that the show has a crowd of fans wrapped around the block, SoFaygo and his day ones go all out in an epic performance, scream-singing every single lyric by heart.

“Really everything about him makes him a superstar, to be honest,” said co-manager Lamaar.  “It’s more than just the music - it’s the way he interacts with people, and the way he learns to listen first and then speak.”

SoFaygo’s first-ever live show and documentary is part of a series of milestone events within the “First on SoundCloud” artist accelerator program, where each artist collaborates with SoundCloud to co-produce a memorable, career-defining project.  As part of this year’s line-up of creative projects from featured artists, SoFaygo’s show marked an unforgettable moment in his career, allowing him to connect directly with day one fans and bring his dream concert experience to life.

“This show was f*cking crazy,” an ecstatic SoFaygo shared at the end of the concert. “I feel amazing. I wanna thank everybody that came out, I wanna thank SoundCloud for putting this thing together, man. Atlanta, I love ya’ll.”

“Let’s Go Faygo” will be released following the private premiere screening in Atlanta on YouTube.
