Ta'East's Beyond The Halo Effect deserves repeat mode

Need a few new tunes in your life? Look no further than what hip-hop artist Ta’East is serving up with his Beyond The Halo Effect EP.

The project comes stacked with under 10 anthems but each one hits hard. From the ‘Point God’ start-off record to ‘Nike Lows’ - each song is lyrical wordplay and vivid imagery. Get lost in the bars and hit the play button.

Beyond The Halo Effect finds Ta’East eager to reclaim his position as one of hip-hop’s most promising stars after gaining notoriety for his critically acclaimed EP, Okay, I’m Ready in 2016. The EP features seven reflective tracks that highlight Ta’s creative evolution since gaining support from notable tastemakers early in his career. With Cairo Mayeson at the helm of production duties, the LA-based rapper's idiosyncratic flows, inventive compositions, and commanding vocal tones are elevated beyond measure.

LL Cool J's platform Rock The Bells declares, "Ta'East is an absolute powerhouse" and Okayplayer says, "Ta'East puts on for the west coast with Beyond The Halo Effect."

Excitement for the EP soared when Ta dropped the music video for the single, "ULTRA MAGNETIC" HERE directed by Jerome D (Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Common, Ty Dolla $ign). The vivid music video enhances the rhymes delivered as kaleidoscopic effects and radiant color schemes intensify each visual.
