Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today unveiled the EA SPORTS™ WRC roadmap for the coming year, with a 2024 season update, including new locations, moments, stages, high-performance vehicles, and customisable liveries. Featuring content exclusive for the 2024 season, EA SPORTS WRC is the ultimate rally experience that takes driving to the edge of control in pursuit of the perfect run.
Preceding the WRC 2024 Season Expansion* is the Season 6 Rally Pass*, running July through September, that offers new grouped rewards of helmets, race suits and gloves, so drivers have a greater chance to complete entire collections. For the first time, liveries for vehicle classes beyond WRC will be available, giving players more ways to personalise their rally experience. Alongside the new content, the 2024 WRC Esports Championship will launch with a series of online events and an in-person final to coincide with the end of the season. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.

EA SPORTS™ WRC, the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship, announced the launch of its Season 4 content update, which will be available on April 9. You can check out the season 4 trailer HERE!
This update introduces 67 new Moments and 20 fresh Rally Pass levels, with up to 30 customization items for players to enjoy. The latest Moments will blend daily challenges inspired by the real-world 2024 season with highlights from the rich 50-year history of the WRC. Players will have the opportunity to follow the racing lines of Yohan Rossel and Kalle Rovanperä, test their skills in the classic Porsche 911 SC RS and the iconic BMW M3 Evo Rally, and be transported from the infamous Safari Rally Kenya to the relentless asphalt of Nagoya, Japan, among other exciting scenarios.
Additionally, VR is poised to arrive as a complimentary update for all PC players of EA SPORTS WRC at the end of the month and you can already catch a glimpse of the in-development VR gameplay in the aforementioned Season 4 trailer. Developed using OpenXR technology, VR promises to elevate the WRC player experience by adding an unprecedented level of immersion, bringing them closer than ever to the thrill of driving a rally car.

Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) is excited to announce the launch of the Season 2 Update for EA SPORTS™ WRC, offering rally enthusiasts an enhanced gameplay experience with fresh challenges. The new content includes the inaugural Central European Rally, comprised of over 32kms of fast, demanding, and adrenaline-inducing asphalt across 12 stages. The update also includes Rally Pass items and over 60 new Moments.
Inspired by the recent official WRC rally, the new Central European location introduces fans to the high-speed, flowing Czech roads in this new asphalt-based stage. It is available for free* to all players from December 14 and across all major game modes, including Career, with various weather conditions and seasonal climates. Tips and tricks to tackle the new location along with the full route list can be found on the EA SPORTS WRC website.
"Our vision with Central Europe is to dare our players to push the limits of control and take calculated risks as they race through small villages, forests and open farmland. In addition to several game enhancements, from December 19, this update marks the start of a new Rally Pass Season, offering players the chance to unlock up to 30 customisation items across the free, VIP and EA Play tiers. Over 60 Moments will also be released in Season 2, giving fans the opportunity to relive the history of WRC and take on unique daily challenges. Eight of these Moments will be exclusive to EA Play members.

The ‘Rally versus Racing’ content takes players beyond the virtual world, giving a unique insight into the skills needed to master a rally car and the pressures both driver and co-driver experience during a competition on some of the toughest terrain.
As a novice off-road multi-surface racer, Abbie is put through her paces both in the virtual and real worlds courtesy of 2023 WRC competitor Adrien Fourmaux. Gaining insight using EA SPORTS WRC, the current GT driver completes various tasks in preparation for tackling her first rally stage. From understanding how to launch from the line to mastering pace notes, Abbie learns all aspects of the role of the co-driver before swapping seats with the current British Rally Champion.
Following her maiden stage, Abbie Eaton said: “You have to work a lot harder in that than in a GT car. The game does teach you a lot. With the pace notes, it definitely made a difference to build up to it.”
