You know the drama is sizzling for Friday night’s epic face-off. The legend Mike Tyson. The proven star Jake Paul. The hype is more than real and how about getting a final press conference to put the cherry on top of a highly-anticipated face-off? Say less.

Going down from The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory this past Wednesday (November 13) - Jake Paul and Iron Mike came face to face for a final press conference before the historic bout tomorrow evening.

All fighters on the main and preliminary cards participated in the press conference, including undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and unified featherweight champion Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs), who will face off in the most-anticipated women's boxing rematch in history. Additional fighters showcased included Mario Barrios, Abel Ramos, Neeraj Goyat, Whindersson Nunes, Shadasia Green, Melinda Watpool,  Lucas Bahdi, Armando Casamonica, Shu Shu Carrington Jr., and Dana Coolwell.

Hosted by renowned combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani, the fighters had plenty to say at the press conference about their upcoming matchups. See quotes below and view the full press conference on Netflix’s YouTube and MVP’s YouTube.

Jake Paul Quotes

On what goes through his mind when he thinks of vintage Mike: “Yeah, it's cute. I fear no man. So I want him to be that old savage Mike. He says he's going to kill me. I'm ready. I want that killer. I want the hardest match possible Friday night, and I want there to be no excuses from everyone at home when I knock him out.”

On what Paul vs. Tyson being a professional fight means to boxing: “Well, the people speak for themselves. I don't even have to ask them. [This is the] biggest live gate in US boxing history outside of Las Vegas. Numbers don't lie. People want to see this and that's an amazing accomplishment. Credit to Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and Mike and everyone on the card as well. [...] We all did this together, and this is a statement that we had the biggest live gate outside of Vegas in US boxing history.”

On Mike’s claims that he’s a natural-born killer and Jake is a manufactured killer: “Whatever he wants to think. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the deadliest weapon on the planet is manufactured and that's a nuke.”

On whether there’s any chance the fight goes to a decision: “No, someone's getting put to sleep. It's going to be a war and we're both heavy hitters. It's not going the full 16 minutes.”

On his critics: “I'm blessed to be in the position I am, to be highly criticized. That just means I'm doing something right. No one has had a boxing career like mine. It'll be studied and judged, but I've risen to the top in four years because I've taken risks. I was the underdog all the way up until Nate Robinson and that's something that people don't remember [and] don't give any credit to, but I put it on the line against some of the best in the sport every single time. That's why I'm here on Netflix against the biggest name in boxing right now.”

On if he thinks Mike will bite his ear: “I'm not getting my shit bit off on Friday night, so I got my diamond spiked ear covers right there.”

Mike Tyson Quotes

On being back in the ring at 58 and his epic comeback: “I'm just ready to fight. I've said everything I had to say. There's nothing else to say. I'm just looking forward to fighting.”

On what he would lose if he loses the fight: “I'm not going to lose.”

On what Cus D’Amato would think of him fighting Jake Paul: “He'd be very happy.”

On Shu Shu Carrington quoting his famous “my style is impetuous…” quote: “Yes, he is very eloquent, but that day I was off my meds.”

On if he has anything nice to say about Jake: [Silence]

Katie Taylor Quotes

On what it’ll take to end the talk that Amanda deserved to win at Madison Square Garden: “I believe that I won the last fight clearly and I'm just got to go in there Friday night and beat her again. I put my body through the trenches over the last few months and it’s an absolute privilege to be here on the same card as a legend in the sport. It's absolutely an amazing opportunity that we both have, and I just can't wait to step in there and showcase what I can do again and get another win.

On what the fight means for girls and young women around the world: “The greatest part about this journey is just being able to inspire and impact the next generation of female fighters. When I started boxing as a nine or ten years old, there [were] no female fighters at all in the boxing gyms in Ireland. But every single boxing gym I walk into now is packed with female fighters… that's what legacy is all about, really.  I think what me and Amanda have done over these last few years, inspiring that generation of young fighters, is the best thing we could leave behind in this sport. An absolute privilege.”

On Amanda seeming to have the upper hand in the 5th round of their first meeting: “I think for every single fighter, we're always prepared for moments like that. That's why we train so hard. When you're in shape, when you're fit, you recover so well from those moments. And I take a lot of reassurance and a lot of confidence from that because I took her biggest shots and [...] I wasn't moved. I won the second half of that fight. So I take a lot of reassurance going into the rematch because of that.”

Amanda Serrano Quotes

On what the fight means for girls and young women around the world: “Legacy is very important, but my goal is to motivate and inspire these young girls, the new generation in this sport, that you can do anything you put your mind to. If you believe in yourself, have a great team, you can go far… When I say how much I make, it's not bragging, it's to show these women that we can make it. We are capable of making it. We are capable of breaking records and just strive for excellence and you will achieve it.”

On the pressure she faces: The pressure's always there when you’re trying to be [the] face of a sport, but I feel like I'm not just the face. There's a lot of us that come together. We made history together. I made history multiple times and I just have to go out there and make sure that I perform like I did the last time.”

On what she’s bringing to the ring on Friday, November 15: “Listen, I'm going to do what I do best and come to fight.”

On going up three divisions to face Katie Taylor at super lightweight: “A lot of people don't acknowledge I am going up through three divisions being the unified featherweight champion. It's always hard for me and uncomfortable when I have to leave my weight class where I feel comfortable at. [I’ve had] to eat a lot more protein, a lot more carbs just to make sure that I feel good at the weight. I'm hoping that I can make at least the 138 tomorrow, but it is what it is. I'm chasing greatness and that's going up three divisions to face Katie Taylor once again, and I will be victorious.”

Mario Barros Quotes

On what went through his mind when he got the call about the opportunity to defend his title: “I’m happy to be defending my title and my home state of Texas and I'm just ready to get this week over with and step in the ring on Friday.”

Abel Ramos Quotes

On what the keys are to beating his opponent: “Mario's a very, very tough opponent. He has the height and reach advantage over me. I think the key to this fight is going to [be about] get[ting] inside and showing up that distance.”

Neeraj Goyat Quotes

On joining MVP: “I'm here for my country… I want to tell them nothing is impossible.”

Whindersson Nunes Quotes

On whether he’s impressed by his opponent: “I feel like I lied on my resume and I just ended up here in the midst of this huge group here.”

Shadasia Green Quotes

On lessons from her first title fight: “ I'm just honored to be here and share such a historic card, but [what I’m focused on is] just [to] embrace the moment and show up and show out. Be proud that you're here and just dominate.”

Melinda Watpool Quotes

On why the timing is right for her fight: “There's not only going to be one great female fight on this card, but two. We turned down the fight a couple times. I was just starting in my pro career and I wasn't ready. We don't take fights that we’re not ready for. Mentally, physically, I'm ready now.”

Lucas Bahdi Quotes

On how his life has changed since his July knockout and victory: “I'm honored to be here. It's an amazing card on Netflix for the first time and knockouts is what I do. So you guys are in for a show. Can't wait.”

Armando Casamonica Quotes

On representation: [Translated from Italian] “You're going to share a moment you're never going to forget.”

Shu Shu Carrington Jr. Quotes

On being on a card with Mike Tyson: “It's honestly something that I would've never thought about around the time I started boxing. He was already retired, [I was] not even thinking about him coming back around and doing this here, and this is honestly just a dream come true. [...] It means the world to me. I'm ready to put on a show and show everybody what the Shu Shu show has to deliver.”

Dana Coolwell Quotes

On his background and how unique it is for him to get this opportunity:  “I'm a proud Australian, indigenous Australian. I'm representing all of Australia and I'm just happy to be part of something so big, such a massive card on Netflix and getting this opportunity.”

This will mark Taylor and Serrano’s long-awaited rematch following their historic bout at Madison Square Garden in 2022, where they made history as the first-ever women fighters to headline an event in the iconic venue’s history. The women’s undisputed mega-fight will be contested across 10, two-minute rounds, Serrano’s only break from fighting 12x3, the men’s championship standard, for the remainder of her career. You know the vibes, the hype keeps brewing for a much-anticipated Jake Paul and Mike Tyson bout. We’re still a couple months away but with the latest stop on the press tour going down in Arlington, Texas, it’s all eyes on the duo.

The footage speaks volumes but if time is of the essence for you, keep scrolling to check out some key quotes from the hour-long outing. Tap in.

Today at Texas Live! in Arlington, the Problem Child, Jake “El Gallo de Dorado” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and the Baddest Man on the Planet Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) came face to face for the second time since Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced their upcoming fight. Paul vs. Tyson is set for an eight-round professional heavyweight bout with two-minute rounds and will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. Tickets went on sale today and can be purchased HERE. Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs Serrano has already broken records for the highest gate of any boxing or MMA event in Texas’ history, a testament to the massive size and impact of this global event.

In the highly anticipated co-main event, Matchroom’s undisputed super lightweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) will defend her world titles over 10, two-minute rounds against boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) in the most anticipated rematch in women’s boxing history.

In today’s press conference hosted by Emmy award-winning sports broadcaster Brian Custer, Paul, Tyson, Taylor, and Serrano had plenty to say about their upcoming fights.

Jake Paul Quotes

On whether the fight is scripted: I hope y'all keep that same energy when I knock this old man the f*ck out. Clearly, they don't have a high IQ in here, but that's a federal crime.

On Tyson calling him fat: Hey, Buster Douglas was fat. Am I right? I know, but you know Buster Douglas, I'm better. I'm going to end you quicker than he did and you'll remember that forever. You started me off. [Note: Paul made his pro boxing debut on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr.] I appreciate that. Mike, I love you. I love you like a father loves his son, but I must discipline you. You're going down, man.

On being able to knock out Tyson: What I promise to the people is on July 20th, Mike will be put to sleep and he will feel my power and I will go down as the man who put Tyson to sleep for the last time.

On whether this fight will be a stamp of approval, if he wins:  They say he's the baddest man on the planet, so let's find out. Apparently he's the final boss… I love the biggest challenges in the world. That's what's made my whole entire career is taking big risks and I want the toughest guy out there. I want the biggest fights and making history is what I've done my whole entire career. And this is no different. Netflix, Mike Tyson. It doesn't get any bigger than this and everyone will see July 20th.

In response to being booed by the crowd: Hey Dallas, shut the f*ck up. Y'all keep booing, I'm going to keep doing. That's how y'all want to do it? Let's f*cking do it. Keep booing. I keep doing. I told y'all [you’re] the ultimate f*cking hillbillies. Go milk a cow.

On setting the gate record in Texas (surpassing Canelo vs Saunders): I just have one thing to say, Canelo: ¿Quién es la cara del boxeo ahora papi? (Translation: Who is the face of boxing now papi?)

Mike Tyson Quotes

On whether the fight is scripted: I started Jake off and I’m gonna finish him.

On risking serious injury against a powerful 27-year-old who is in his prime: I don't know if he's in his prime. He's fat. He should be lean and mean and he's fat and funky. I saw him with his shirt off though and he's fat.

On knocking out Paul early: He's not going to win. He can't even knock out Nate D [Nate Diaz] who is like 40 pounds. How's he going to knock me out? Who’s the other guy? Anderson Silva…. He didn't knock out Tommy Fury. He didn't knock those little guys out, [how’s he going to] knock me out?... Who did he knock out? Little children… [he] never knocked out a real man.

On whether Jake will be a world champion boxer someday: Yes, he did improve a lot, but he is not going to have a good night when he fights me on July 20th.

Katie Taylor Quotes

On Amanda Serrano’s claim that she has ‘learned to lose’: I don't know what ‘learn how to lose’ means, but I haven’t lost. I came back in fantastic fashion and at the first fight I did win a fight. The right winner won. It was a fantastic fight, but the right winner won, and I plan to do the same thing on July 20. I'm sitting beside Mike Tyson here. This is the winner's table right here.

On whether she’ll win the fight more decisively the second time around: I feel like I'm a better fighter this time around. I'm smarter, I'm stronger, I'm better in every way. I took her biggest shots at the first fight. I take confidence and reassurance from that. Going into the second fight, I took her hardest fights. I took her hardest punches - I took them and I'm ready to go. July 20, I'll be at my very, very best and we'll see who the better fighter is.

On if she’ll become the best pound-for-pound boxer: I already believe I’m the best female fighter in the world pound-for-pound, and I'll approve it again on July 20.

On staying in a winning mindset while training: Every time I step into the ring, I want to be the best. I want to be known as the best, and I hate to lose, so I just keep that in mind during training and that's it.

On taking that mindset into fight night: I think for me, I'm just putting my head down, getting to work in the gym. I train so hard. I think all of us here are just putting the work in a gym and that prepares you mentally for the fight. So I put my body through the trenches and that allows me to put my body through the trenches on fight night as well, so I just can't wait. This is going to be a phenomenal night.

Amanda Serrano Quotes

On whether she can finish Katie for the second time: Well, I'm telling you, I'm going to start that fight the way I started that fifth round, but finish it.

Can she carry her power moving up three weight classes to 140? Well, obviously you saw my power went up at 135. I was the one who hurt her that fight. I was never hurt in the first fight and I planned that I'll have that power, the same power and I'm going to go out there and punch like I love to do, but just a little bit more intense and a lot harder.

On whether the winner pound for pound will be the best female fighter in the world: I definitely believe so. You have to remember also, she's [Katie] fighting a featherweight. She's fighting a featherweight champion going up to her weight, so I mean when I win, I will be pound for pound the best.

On who won the first Taylor vs Serrano first fight:

I've been saying it for a long time. I believe I won that fight. You can ask the audience who won that fight. You can even ask your Irish people who won that fight. I respect Katie. She's a great champion. Like you said, I need a great dance partner and Katie Taylor is that dance partner, but deep down inside, I know I won that fight.

Need even more reasons to tune into the upcoming Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight? Just lean on Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) to deliver the one-two punch with even more bouts going down including H2O Sylve and Floyd ‘Kid Austin’ Schofield lacing up.

It’s all in the details and promises to make Saturday, July 20 a night to remember.

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced that MVP’s undefeated young phenom H2O Sylve (11-0, 9 KOs) will face fellow undefeated top prospect Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield (17-0, 12 KOs) in a clash of two of boxing’s best lightweight prospects. The 10-round lightweight battle will take place on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano undercard on Saturday, July 20 as the two up-and-coming stars put their undefeated records on the line early in their careers, breaking the boxing mold to differentiate themselves and help grow the sport. Joining Sylve vs. Schofield on the undercard will be veteran Mexican cruiserweight and former WBC middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (53-6-1, 34 KOs) vs. UK UFC star Darren Till in Till’s professional boxing debut following his tremendous UFC career, which garnered the fighter 18 wins inside the cage, including 10 knockouts and 2 wins by submission. The fight will be a 6 round cruiserweight bout, contested at 190lbs. Paul vs. Tyson will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. Over 120,000 fans have signed up for presale access, a testament to the unprecedented immense global demand and excitement for the Paul vs. Tyson heavyweight mega-fight and Taylor vs. Serrano, the most-anticipated rematch in women’s boxing history. Fans can still sign up for advance presale access here.

H2O Sylve, MVP’s undefeated 20-year-old phenom from Long Beach, California, returns to the ring following his 10-round bout against Brazil’s Estivan Falcao on MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects V in February 2024. The fight marked a step up in class for Sylve and followed his thrilling knockout of veteran William Silva on the Paul vs. Diaz card in August of 2023. Now, Sylve, ESPN Ringside's 2022 Prospect of the Year, will look to test himself against a fellow world-class boxing prospect in Schofield, as both set their eyes on becoming a title contender in the near future. Sylve signed with MVP in 2022 and has been training in boxing since age 6 under his father Ivan.

“I can't wait to step into the ring with ‘Kid Austin,’” said H2O Sylve. “He's just another stepping stone on my path to greatness and when I'm done with him, he'll wish he never signed the contract. It’s an honor to fight on this historic card and on Saturday, July 20th, over 270 million fans can tune in on Netflix and 80,000 more fans live at AT&T Stadium will have the opportunity to see me take care of ‘Kid Austin’ once and for all. Thank you to MVP and Netflix for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”

No stranger to overcoming adversity, 21-year-old Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield Jr. battled through poverty and homelessness to become one of the hottest world title contenders in the lightweight division. A pugilist working out of Davies Boxing and Fitness in San Antonio, Texas, his training and sparring resume features a long list of current and up-and-coming world champions. Schofield made his professional debut on October 9, 2020, with a skilled knockout over Richard Esquibel. Since then, he has quickly built out his undefeated, professional portfolio with a series of knockout wins. In March 2024, Schofield successfully defended his WBA International Lightweight title against the unconventional Esteuri Suero, who was disqualified in the fifth round for a low blow, point deductions and poor sportsmanship in the bout.

"Being on a card of this magnitude is very important to me," said Floyd Schofield Jr. "I've worked super hard to get to fights like these, and now it’s time to show what I got. I step into that ring undefeated, and I will leave undefeated. H2O may doubt me, but he’ll soon realize he is facing an unstoppable force. This is my moment, and I look forward to showing the world what Kid Austin is capable of."

Joining Sylve vs. Schofield on the undercard will be a 6-round Mexico-UK battle between boxing veteran Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and UK UFC star Darren Till who will make his professional boxing debut on Saturday, July 20. Chavez Jr., the Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico native and son of former three-division world boxing champion Julio César Chávez, “El Gran Campeón Mexicano,” the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. Chavez Jr. began his professional career with an impressive undefeated streak across his first 47 fights. Chavez Jr. climbed the rankings and became the WBC middleweight world champion in 2011, before being defeated by Sergio Martinez in Chavez’s fourth title defense in 2012. Chavez Jr. went on to reclaim regional titles and later won the WBC Continental Americas Super Middleweight title and last fought in his hometown of Culiacan with a UD win over David Zegarra. In June 2021, Chavez squared off with MMA star Anderson Silva, suffering a narrow split decision defeat and now looks to set the record straight as he takes on another MMA star in Till.

“I'm excited to return to the ring after some time off, and I'm motivated and eager to reestablish myself as one of the greats,” said Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. “I was the first Mexican middleweight champion in the history of Mexico and want to prove that I can again become a champion. My return to the ring at this historic event is an honor. On Saturday, July 20, I'm going to win by KO and continue my journey.”

“I am confident that my son Julio is focused, and I'm excited about that,” said “El Gran Campeón Mexicano,” Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. “This is his moment to make a statement,  together on the same card with my friend Mike Tyson. I will be there by my son's side when he wins. He has a lot of boxing left in him and he will prove it on July 20th!”

Facing down Chavez Jr. on Saturday, July 20 will be UK UFC legend Darren Till, who will make his professional boxing debut on the Paul vs. Tyson undercard. Till, the 31-year-old star from Liverpool, England turned pro in Muay Thai at just age 15 and went on to train across Brazil and the UK in MMA. From 2015-2022, Till was a standout in the UFC, collecting 18 wins inside the cage, with 10 coming by way of knockout and two by submission. Till fought in both the welterweight and middleweight divisions and challenged for the UFC Welterweight Championship in September 2018. In February 2023, Till requested release from the UFC to pursue his interest in boxing and now trains with UK boxing legend and former WBO light-middleweight title holder Liam Smith. He is managed by three-time super-middleweight world title contender Paul Smith. Till will make his professional boxing debut in a 190lb cruiserweight bout against Mexican star Chavez Jr.

“I’m very happy to be a part of this event. Paul vs. Tyson is going to be one of the biggest events of our generation, and to make my professional boxing debut on it is brilliant, said Darren Till. “I’m very happy with my opponent. I’ve been a fan of his father for many years and I’ve been a fan of Chavez Jr. too - he is a great fighter who I respect, but make no mistake about it, I am coming to knock him out in the first round. I am happy with where I am in life, and I am coming to make a statement on Saturday, July 20th in Texas.”

“Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano will be epic bouts that captivate audiences worldwide, and we’ve worked diligently to create an unforgettable event that will leave fans on the edge of their seats. We’re thrilled to announce two additional fights that perfectly complement our main card,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “H2O Sylve vs. ‘Kid Austin’ Floyd Schofield will be a battle showcasing the future stars of boxing. These two young stars are disrupting the sport of boxing by putting their undefeated records on the line against each other so early in their careers, to evolve the sport and set an example for other prospects. We are also excited to have Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. make his long-awaited return against UFC star Darren Till, in a Mexico vs. UK showdown. Chavez Jr. will be looking to silence the critics following his loss to Anderson Silva, while Till, training with UK boxing great Liam Smith, intends to show the world he’s a real threat inside the ring. The biggest event in modern boxing history just got bigger, and we can’t wait for fans to watch on Saturday, July 20 live, exclusively on Netflix from AT&T Stadium."

Additional information, including further undercard bouts, will be announced at a later date.

Is it July 20 yet? Turns out the hype keeps growing for the insanely anticipated Jake Paul and Mike Tyson bout going down this summer. So as the excitement grows, it’s only right to keep tabs on the duo’s New York press conference.

The duo finally seeing each other face to face? It definitely went down this week. Peep the details and start geeking out.

Today at the iconic Apollo Theater in New York, the Problem Child, Jake “El Gallo de Dorado” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and the Baddest Man on the Planet Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) came face to face for the first time since Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced their upcoming fight. Paul vs. Tyson is set for an eight-round professional bout with two-minute rounds and will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

In the highly anticipated co-main event, Matchroom’s undisputed super lightweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) will defend her undisputed title over 10, two-minute rounds against boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) in the most anticipated rematch in women’s boxing history.

Over 120,000 people have signed up for early access tickets here. All remaining tickets will go on sale on Thursday, May 16 at 12pm ET. Netflix and MVP will host a second Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano press conference later that day, at 7:30pm CT, at Texas Live! in Arlington, Texas.

In today’s press conference hosted by renowned combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani, Paul, Tyson, Taylor, and Serrano had plenty to say about the upcoming fight:

Jake Paul Quotes

On how hard it was to get Mike Tyson: Yeah no, he was game. I think he's always wanted to do this. This has been a long time coming. We've been calling each other out for years and we finally got to make it happen on Netflix, the biggest platform in the world, and things just keep on getting bigger and better. The co-main event [Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano]... I mean this is quite literally history that we're looking at right here. Mike wanted this. Mike wanted it to be a pro fight. He wants the war, and so I respect that. I respect him for taking this fight, for stepping up to try to put an end to me because that's what all these fighters have been trying to do is end the YouTuber and if Mike can do that, then he's a hero.

On how the deal came together with Netflix: Yeah, look, it is Most Valuable Promotions that have been changing the game since we came into the promotional business and we just continue to level up and do things differently and see gaps in the market that no one else has identified. We wanted to work with Netflix, they liked the idea and see the vision in what we're building, what type of events we can put on. This is quite literally the biggest fight of the 21st century because of the fact that it's Mike Tyson versus me, but also the fact that it's in 700 million households on Netflix for free, for everyone who's a subscriber to watch.

On those who doubt him: I'm going to show the world that I can outbox Mike Tyson, prove everyone wrong, and show that I will be the one doing the killing.

On the importance of it being a pro fight: After the contract was signed, we got a call from Mike's team and they were like, ‘Hey, he wants it to be a pro fight for sure. He wants that. He wants to put it all on the line.’ I respect Mike for that and if he wanted it to be that, then let's run it.

On taking on Mike Tyson’s power: I'm a natural born heavyweight. This is what I was born to do, to move up into this weight class. I'm going to show Mike who has more power because he's underestimating me. I think everyone else is underestimating me and I believe that I hit harder. I know it's going to be tough. I know I'm going to have to fight through adversity. I know I might even go to the canvas. I'm scared, don't get me wrong, but it's not about the fear stopping me. It's about going into it, even though I am scared. That's what true bravery is.

On whether he can take a hit from Mike Tyson: Yeah, look, they call him Iron Mike Tyson, but I'm titanium Jake Paul.

Mike Tyson Quotes

On why he ultimately said yes to the fight: It was a no-brainer. He was a new up and coming guy on the scene, and I like shaking the sports world to its core and I'm doing it now. It's just something I want to do.

On their age difference: I'm beautiful. That's all I can say. (Crowd roars with laughter.)

On whether the goal is to end Paul: Once he’s in that ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it, because it will be.

On the modified rules: I wanted the shorter rounds because I wanted more action. If we only have two minutes, we'll fight more.

Katie Taylor Quotes

On whether we're headed to a trilogy or putting the rivalry to bed: The trilogy is not on my mind right now. I beat her her the first time, and I plan on beating her the second time

On how the fight came together: Well, I just got a phone call from my manager Brian a few weeks ago saying I was going to be on the same card as Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. And this is just a dream for me. I think last year my family had said to me, what do you want to do before I retire? Is there anything I want to achieve in a sport or anybody who I'd want to meet? And one of the things I said is I'd love to meet Mike Tyson and here you beside me, an icon of the sport, a legend of the sport. And this is just incredible.

On being on the same card as Mike Tyson: He's just a legend and icon on the sport. And I fell in love with a sport in the nineties and Mike Tyson was the biggest name of boxing during that time. He was ferocious and is super exciting to watch and he's a real historian as well. I love your knowledge of boxing. I love listening…. I just cannot believe I'm sitting next to Mike Tyson right now. I'm pinching myself.

On fighting at 140 pounds: Yeah, I feel really good at this weight….lots of women fighters do go up and down the weights, and so I do feel very, very strong this way. The last fight myself and Amanda fought, it was an epic fight. It was an iconic fight. It was in front of 20,000 people in Madison Square Garden. It felt like the whole of Puerto Rico and Ireland were there on the stage during that night and now we get to do it again in front of 100,000 people. This is amazing for the sport live on Netflix. Just thank you so much to MVP for giving us this opportunity. This is absolutely iconic.

On advice she has for women that want to learn how to box: Just go for it. I think they're the hardest step. Sometimes just a first step into a boxing gym. It can be intimidating to step inside the boxing gym. It takes a lot of courage. So the first step is always the hardest. So just go over it and don't let anybody out work in the gym.

Amanda Serrano Quotes

On getting a chance to avenge her loss to Katie: I think it was always going to happen because Katie and my name are always going to be attached to each other no matter what, and I'm glad to be a part of this to be alongside Katie Taylor. She's a great champion, but we're going to go out there and prove to the world that we deserve this platform.

On moving up to the super lightweight class: Listen, everyone knows I'm the unified featherweight champion. I've said it many times, anything over that [weight], it's hard for me. Obviously [at] 135, I [didn’t get the win against Katie], but for the opportunity to fight Katie Taylor [again], I took the fight [at] 140. Her team said, ‘you’ve got to do it at 140’. I really want the fight. The fight is for the fans, so greatness requires sacrifice. So once again, I'm sacrificing my body. I'm sacrificing everything to go up three divisions. The last time was two divisions. I believe I won. I heard Katie, I think going up another division, I can do the same thing. My power was going to come with me and this is a great opportunity for both of us and it is what it is. I just got to eat more. I’m a Latina, so I get to eat a lot more rice.

On what she’s bringing to the ring on Saturday, July 20: [I’m going] to go out there and give it my all. I got training. It's a little different. I'm training smarter, not harder, and I'm going out there being vintage.

On a possible trilogy vs. Katie: I mean, we'll see that night if Katie wants it. I don't know. We'll see. I'm just concentrating on this fight, concentrating on making the 140 and going out there and giving it my all.

On recovery from her March eye injury and what she’s looking forward to: I'm one hundred percent fine. It was the eyelid; it wasn’t in the eyeball, so I'm completely fine. I'm good and ready to go on July 20th. I want to thank everybody at MVP, my trainer, Jordan Maldonado, Netflix, everybody, even Katie Taylor's team for making this happen. I'm super excited. We're going to be fighting in Jerry's world, so I'm excited and I can't wait till July 20th. I’ll become a two division undisputed champion. What can I say?

Netflix: Here's the full-fledged details of Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 and Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

Looking at my calendar? I have completely etched out July 20 because it’s going to be a must-see night with some massive bouts going down. Whether you’re down for the epic rematch face-off between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano or the cringe but epic Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight - it’s going to be must-see.

Netflix for the win, too? Say less. It’s all in the details.

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today announced that after two years, Matchroom’s undisputed super lightweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs), will step back in the ring for the most anticipated rematch in women’s boxing history against boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs). Taylor vs. Serrano 2 will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

Taylor vs. Serrano 2 will be the co-main event to the recently announced heavyweight match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson as part of Netflix and MVP’s first-ever partnership. This will mark Taylor and Serrano’s long-awaited rematch following their historic bout at Madison Square Garden in 2022, where they made history as the first ever women fighters to headline an event in the iconic venue’s history. The bout ended in a narrow split decision in favor of Taylor and garnered global acclaim for both fighters earning Sports Illustrated’s Fight of the Year and The Ring’s Event of the Year for 2022. Taylor vs. Serrano was also nominated for Sports Business Journal’s Event of the Year, a testament to the global reach and power of the event. The rematch between the ESPN-ranked pound-for-pound powerhouses, #2 Taylor and #3 Serrano, will be contested for the undisputed super lightweight championship marking a jump of three weight classes from Serrano’s normal featherweight division as Taylor puts all her super lightweight belts on the line. The women’s undisputed megafight will be contested across 10, two-minute rounds, Serrano’s only break from fighting 12x3, the men’s championship standard, for the remainder of her career. Paul vs. Tyson and Taylor vs. Serrano 2 is anticipated to be the biggest boxing event in modern history, and fans can sign up for presale ticket access at mostvaluablepromotions.com

Irish sensation Katie Taylor once again reaches for greatness as she meets Amanda Serrano in a rematch – with Taylor looking to add another remarkable chapter to her incredible boxing career as she defends her undisputed Super-Lightweight title. Taylor defeated Serrano at a sold-out Madison Square Garden in April 2022 in a stunning fight of the year contest that saw Taylor successfully defend the undisputed Lightweight title that she won in the same arena in June 2019 against Belgian Delfina Persoon. Taylor became a two-weight undisputed champion in her last outing in November, overcoming Chantelle Cameron in a rematch of their closely fought battle in April, with both fights taking place at a sold-out 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. She first got her hands on world honors in her seventh pro fight, claiming the vacant WBA Lightweight title in Cardiff against Anahi Sanchez in October 2017, and has been in 17 straight world title contests since that night en-route to becoming a two-weight undisputed ruler.

"This is the rematch the world has wanted to see and I’m delighted that it’s finally happening,” said Katie Taylor. “The first fight in New York was obviously an epic occasion and it more than lived up to the billing, and I’m sure the rematch will be no different. I want to thank Matchroom and DAZN for their help in making the fight possible and I’m looking forward to defending my titles as Undisputed World Champion in Dallas on Saturday, July 20.”

Amanda Serrano, the first-ever Puerto Rican undisputed world champion and seven-division world champion, started her current featherweight title reign by defeating Heather Hardy in a brutal 10-round fight in 2019 to win the WBO belt, and has since defended her WBO belt six times. Serrano offered Hardy a chance at redemption in August 2023, but successfully defended her undisputed featherweight world champion title for the first time in a decisive 10 round unanimous decision victory. Serrano also won a blood-soaked war against WBA featherweight champion Erika Cruz in February 2023, which made her the undisputed featherweight champion. Serrano’s decisive win against Cruz followed her previous win over Sarah Mahfoud in Manchester, England that added the Dane’s IBF title to her WBO, WBC, and IBO featherweight belts. Most recently, Serrano took home a unanimous decision victory against her mandatory WBO challenger Danila Ramos, making history in the first-ever women’s unified world championship to be fought over 12, three-minute rounds, equal to any men’s championship fight, and marking the first time a women’s fight has gone the full 12x3. Serrano threw a career high 1,103 punches in the bout. In a true commitment to change for women’s boxing, Serrano recently vacated her WBC title, as the sanctioning body does not support women’s choice for 12x3. Serrano, whose natural weight is 126 pounds, now steps up to super lightweight to face Taylor for the second time, aiming to add the Irish fighter’s belts to her current featherweight hardware in what would be a championship in her eighth weight class.

“I promised my fans they would see this rematch after we made history at MSG and it feels like a dream come true to know that Katie and I are finally making it happen on the biggest stage possible to show the world what elite women’s boxing is all about,” said Amanda Serrano. “While my focus continues to be on giving women the choice to fight with the same rules as men, I’ve always said that this is the one fight I’d go back to 10x2 for if that’s what Katie wanted. I’m coming for her belts, she wants 10x2, so that’s what we will do. I believe I won our first fight, but I didn’t get the decision, so this time I’m not leaving it to the judges. I am honored to share this iconic MVP card in the biggest stadium, on the biggest streaming platform in the world. Thank you Nakisa, Jake, Mike and Netflix for making this happen. And to all the young girls and women watching, I want you to know that anything is possible. Keep dreaming, keep working hard, and never let anyone tell you otherwise. It took me 15 years of blood, sweat and tears to get here, but it’s all worth it because I’m living my dreams.”

Taylor vs. Serrano 2 marks the latest in MVP’s series of significant women’s championship fights as the company works to establish equity across the sport. The event follows Amanda Serrano’s first-ever 12x3 unified championship fight vs. challenger Danila Ramos in October and the Paul vs. August special championship feature of MVP’s Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green vs. Franchón Crews-Dezurn for the WBC and WBA super middleweight world titles.

“When we announced Paul vs. Tyson, we stated that this would be the most-watched boxing event in modern boxing history and we’re here to deliver on a card worthy of that greatness,” said Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor have proven they are two of the biggest names in the sport, male or female and their rematch is one of the biggest fights in boxing, so it’s only fitting for them to be a part of this massive global event. Anyone who witnessed their first battle knows the unforgettable atmosphere and performance Amanda and Katie bring when they step into the ring together, and this is sure to be a fight of the year contender again. Hate him or love him, there’s no denying greatness in the form of fighter Jake Paul. Fresh from a headline-generating first-round knockout against fighter Andre August, the popular personality has stepped up to announce big boxing 2024 Olympics plans.

It’s all about bringing the boxing Culture to the upcoming Olympics. Tap in.

USA Boxing today announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with international superstar, professional boxer and co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), Jake Paul, to further amplify amateur boxing and its future champions ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. This partnership between Paul and Team USA will be a joint effort to create a wave of excitement for boxing at this year’s Olympics, while educating USA’s best amateur boxing talent on the importance of building your skills inside and outside the ring.

In recognition of Jake Paul’s significant impact on the sport and the awareness he brings to the sport for younger generations, USA Boxing is partnering with him to bring fans inside the world of Olympic boxing through its unprecedented access to his massive audience in 2024. The groundbreaking partnership serves as Paul’s next step in his mission to provide a platform for young fighters and amplify global interest in boxing, and represents the first time a professional athlete and influencer has partnered with Team USA for the Olympics in this capacity.

This partnership with USA Boxing is the latest move by Jake Paul to ignite global interest in boxing with younger generations and to support youth boxing through MVP, his nonprofit work, and social platforms. Paul’s Boxing Bullies organization, his nonprofit established in 2021, aims to instill confidence, courage, and leadership in youth through the sport of boxing, while actively fighting back against bullying. Since its inception, Boxing Bullies has hosted events to educate hundreds of young boxers about the causes and impact of bullying, and the organization has independently renovated gyms in Puerto Rico, New York, Florida, and Arizona. In April 2023, Boxing Bullies partnered with the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to further renovate youth boxing gyms across the United States. In tandem, Jake Paul and MVP have dedicated business efforts to uplifting women and young prospects in the sport, launching the Most Valuable Prospects series in 2023 to spotlight the best up-and-coming talent in professional boxing and championing women’s equality in the sport.

Paul will provide his experience in performing on the world’s biggest stages and his brand building acumen to mentor some of the most promising amateur fighters representing the US at this year’s Olympics, including Joshua Edwards and Morelle McCane who attended Paul’s latest professional fight vs. Andre August. Accompanying the team on their journey to gold, Paul will work side-by-side with Team USA boxers while they train at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training facility in early 2024 with famed coach Billy Walsh, before joining the team at their matches in Paris. Throughout this time, Paul will provide fans a rare inside look into what it’s like for athletes to train and compete for their countries at the Olympics.

Since turning pro in 2020, Paul has collected multiple accolades for his commitment to the sport of boxing, including ESPNRingside’s 2021 Knockout of the Year, Sports Illustrated’s 2021 Breakout Boxer of the Year, ESPNRingside’s 2022 Viral Moment of the Year, and the cover of Sports Illustrated’s “The 50 Most Influential Figures in Sports” issue, awarded specifically for his groundbreaking work to revolutionize the sport through equitable pay, providing a platform for young fighters, and his support of female boxers. Paul’s partnership with USA Boxing serves as the next step in his mission to elevate the sport and its future champions.

“It has always been my goal to shine a spotlight not just on boxing as a sport, but on the people who work so hard to be the best within it,” said Jake Paul. “The mindset of pursuing greatness is one I both see and personally share with Mo McCane, Joshua Edwards, and the rest of Team USA’s boxing talent. The Olympics are the greatest stage in the world, and I’m honored to help bring awareness to USA Boxing and mentor these young, inspiring athletes as they fight for gold. Anyone who works hard enough to receive the honor to represent Team USA at the Olympics deserves a platform, so I’m looking forward to getting down to business in Colorado Springs with Coach Walsh and the rest of Team USA.”

“Within just three years of becoming a professional boxer, Jake Paul has become a standout inspiration to younger generations and has emerged as one of the most exciting, influential figures in boxing history,” said Mike McAtee, Executive Director of USA Boxing. "Jake's mentorship will be a vital resource to the young athletes on Team USA to ensure they capitalize on building brand IP as they get the opportunity to perform on the biggest stage in the world at the most iconic contest in history - The Olympics. USA Boxing athletes pour everything they have into our sport and very few of them get the chance to compete for their countries. We want to make sure our athletes are recognized for this rare and outstanding accomplishment and are able to carry some of that well-deserved brand value with them to the next phases of their personal journeys. There is no one more suited to partner with USA Boxing in this capacity than Jake Paul, the awareness he brings to the sport for the youth is unparalleled and we could not be more thrilled to welcome him and his audience to Team USA.”

“Jake Paul has achieved unprecedented global stardom in the sport of boxing, utilizing his social and digital platform to sell more pay-per-views in his first eight fights than anyone in history,” said Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions. “Jake’s dedication to helping young boxing prospects with their brand-building acumen, global audience, and championship mindset make him the perfect choice for this role and he will serve as an invaluable asset to amplify USA Boxing as we approach the 2024 Summer Olympics. MVP is proud to support Jake and the champions of tomorrow alongside Team USA, and we could not be more excited for Jake to meet and work with the team throughout their training camp in Colorado Springs through the end of the medal rounds this summer in Paris.”

Ahead of Jake Paul and USA Boxing’s joint announcement, Team USA members Morelle McCane and Joshua Edwards also attended Jake Paul’s 9th professional bout against professional boxer Andre August on Friday, December 15th, which streamed via DAZN globally. The two top amateur talents accompanied Jake on his walk to the ring and created content with Paul during their visit.

Ready for the Jake Paul and Andre August bout? Well, December 15 is still a few weeks away but what’s the harm in geeking out over the full main card and broadcast talent line-up? Say less.

From the opening talent to the go-to voice stars you’ll hear dishing on Jake Paul and Andre August, the full details have emerged.

Today, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced the broadcast team and main card additions for the Jake Paul vs. Andre August and Most Valuable Prospects IV event taking place on Friday, December 15 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL live on DAZN as a part of its subscription package. Paul vs. August, presented by CELSIUS Essential Energy Drink, will feature famed voices in combat sports including Ariel Helwani, Todd Grisham and Dan Canobbio as the night’s commentators and ringside analysts, with YouTube boxing commentator Wade Plemons serving as host. The Most Valuable Prospects IV main card will feature two additional action-packed bouts between light middleweights Yoenis Tellez (6-0, 5 KOs) vs. Livan Navarro (15-1, 9 KOs) for the WBA Continental Latin Americas title and heavyweights Lorenzo Medina (8-0, 7 KOs) vs. Joshua Temple (12-2, 10 KOs).

Tellez vs. Navarro and Medina vs. Temple will precede MVP’s 10-round special championship feature of Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green vs. Franchón Crews-Dezurn for the WBC super middleweight title and headliners Jake “The Problem Child” Paul vs. professional boxer Andre August in an 8-round cruiserweight fight. Tickets for Paul vs. August, Green vs. Crews-Dezurn and Most Valuable Prospects IV are available now at https://www.ticketmaster.com/most-valuable-promotions-jake-paul-vs-orlando-florida-12-15-2023/event/22005F67C7631182 starting at just $75.

Lorenzo Medina vs. Joshua Temple will kick off the Most Valuable Prospects IV main card with a 6-round heavyweight bout on Friday, December 15th. Medina, the 19-year-old heavy hitter and Most Valuable Prospects fan favorite, returns to Most Valuable Prospects IV from Hialeah, Florida to continue testing his 8-fight undefeated professional record against the more experienced Temple. The St. Louis, Missouri native Temple, a twelve-time national amateur champion, comes to the ring off a five-fight win streak ready to test his early-round knockout power on Medina.

Following the bout will be the highly-anticipated 10-round light middleweight Cuban battle between star prospect Yoenis Tellez vs. Livan Navarro for the WBA Continental Latin Americas title. Tellez (6-0, 5 KOs), from Stafford, Texas by way of Santiago, Cuba, made a name for himself in the opening PPV bout of the Terrence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr. welterweight championship unification showdown, in which Tellez took on the far more experienced Sergio Ramos and dealt Ramos a brutal 3rd round knockout, the seasoned Garcia’s third loss in 37 professional matches – and his first loss by TKO. Tellez spent most of his youth in Cuba as an amateur boxer, winning national youth titles in 2017 and 2018 before moving to Russia in 2020 to make his pro debut. Tellez eventually moved to Texas in 2022 to begin training with Ronnie Shields. He is managed by Eduardo Perez and promoted by BoxLab Promotions and Warrior’s Boxing.

Livan Navarro (15-1, 9 KOs), the Miami-based fighter out of Havana, Cuba, is on a four fight win streak and will take the ring against Tellez following a strong 15-1 start to his professional career and following an impressive 306-20 amateur record. Navarro made his pro debut at age 24 and secured an 11-0 record within his first three years as a professional, before suffering a hard loss to Justin DeLoach in 2020. Navarro enters the ring vs. Tellez coming off a four-fight win streak, seeking to put his name back at the top of the rankings. He is trained by Jorge Rubio.

Providing commentary on these fights will be an all-star broadcast team consisting of Todd Grisham, Wade Plemons, and Dan Canobbio. Beloved YouTube boxing commentator Wade Plemons will serve as host of the show, while Dan Canobbio, Fox Sports’ boxing regular and host of Pluto TV’s Inside Boxing Live returns to serve as analyst and commentator. ESPN veteran and DAZN combat sports reporter Todd Grisham will provide commentary and call the fights throughout the Paul vs. August and Most Valuable Prospects IV main card. Famed combat sports reporter Ariel Helwani will serve as the ringside reporter. The full main card will be offered on DAZN subscription to ensure accessibility to fans worldwide.

“We built the Most Valuable Prospects series on the foundation of giving young and upcoming talent a platform to display their skills and build their names on our stage. As we close out this year’s Most Valuable Prospects series on Friday, December 15th, we are proud to welcome back Lorenzo Medina, who alongside Yoenis Tellez, Livan Navarro, and Joshua Temple personify the skill and energy Most Valuable Prospects represents,” said Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP. “With Shadasia Green battling for the WBC super middleweight championship and Jake continuing on his journey to being world champion, this is not only a card every boxing fan can enjoy, but is exactly what we envisioned when we launched this series. Thank you to DAZN, Caribe Royale Resort, BoxLab, and CELSIUS for this incredible year of partnership. We look forward to unveiling our next six installments in 2024 showcasing more of the young, rising athletes around the world.”

Fans will also get the opportunity to witness four additional preliminary bouts during the Paul vs. August fight. Cruiserweight Zachary Randolph (9-3-1, 3 KOs) out of Fairmont, WV will take on Pittsburgh, PA fighter Michael Manna (7-5, 4 KOs) over six rounds, and 19-year-old welterweight prospect Elijah Flores (6-0, 2 KOs) will put his undefeated record on the line against Javier Mayoral (6-3-1, 1 KO). Bantamweight Alex Gueche (2-0, 2 KOs), the 18-year-old out of Long Beach, CA will also take the ring for a four round bout, ahead of Xavier Bocanegra (3-0, 2 KOs)’s featherweight four round battle.

Jake Paul vs. Andre August fight week events will be free to the public and will kick off Wednesday, December 13 at the Caribe Royale Resort with doors opening at 12 PM ET, with the fighters facing off at the final press conference before the big event. The press conference will begin at 1 PM ET and will be moderated by Todd Grisham and presented by Celsius Essential Energy Drink. The special championship feature fighters Shadasia Green and Franchón Crews-Dezurn will kick off the event, and then the main event fighters Jake Paul and Andre August will join them on the stage. The event will be broadcast across DAZN’s YouTube channel, MVP’s YouTube channel, and Jake Paul’s YouTube channel.

The public weigh-ins will also be free to the public and will be taking place on Thursday, December 14 at the Caribe Royale Resort at 5 PM ET, with doors opening at 4 PM ET. The weigh-ins will be shown live again on DAZN’s YouTube channel, MVP’s YouTube channel, and Jake Paul’s YouTube channel.

The Most Valuable Prospects series is produced and promoted by MVP, with Boxlab Promotions serving as the official licensed promoter and is distributed by DAZN. The fourth event in the series will continue the commitment from MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian to highlight the world’s best up-and-coming boxing talent. All events within Most Valuable Prospects will take place on Friday nights in 2023 and will be hosted by Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL. The series has been renewed for six installments in 2024 and DAZN will air the series globally across its platforms as a part of its subscription package. CELSIUS Essential Energy Drinks, maker of lifestyle energy drink, is the exclusive energy drink sponsor of the Most Valuable Prospects series. Digital sports, entertainment, and gaming company DraftKings will serve as the Official Sports Betting Partner of Paul vs. August and Most Valuable Prospects IV.
