It’s all about a super epic Christmas Eve story to make you smile extra big. Tap in.
In 1973, the two were newly married; Victor was in the Air Force stationed in Alaska. On Christmas Eve, his wife wanted to go see some local Christmas lights and got hungry on the way. The couple went to Pizza Hut for a small pizza and two drinks – and from that day on, they made Pizza Hut their Christmas Eve tradition. No matter where they were in the world, Victor and Robin went with their growing family to Pizza Hut on December 24th, each and every year.
This year, the Dallas couple celebrated 50 years married and 50 years of this special family Pizza Hut tradition. To honor their love of pizza and the Hut, Victor and Robin’s family are working with the local Pizza Hut in Forney, TX to host a SURPRISE celebration this year on Christmas Eve. This year, as they head to their local Dallas Pizza Hut for their 50th Christmas Eve lunch, Pizza Hut is surprising the couple by paying for the whole family to enjoy their Hut favorites; the CEO of Pizza Hut, Aaron Powell, also made a heartwarming video to thank the family for their ongoing love for the brand.
