Do you want to learn even more about hitmaker The Kid LAROI? Turns out Prime Video is going all-out with the popular crooner with an upcoming Kids Are Growing Up documentary.

Centered on his come-up, the new production is slated to invade the Prime Video platform later this month and come packed with reveals. Tap in.

Amazon MGM Studios announced the feature-length documentary Kids Are Growing Up, about global superstar and Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter, The Kid LAROI, produced by OBB Pictures, the film and television division of OBB Media. Directed and produced by fellow Grammy Award nominee and OBB Media founder and CEO, Michael D. Ratner, the film chronicles LAROI’S life and musical journey from his upbringing to his global rise to fame.

The film includes interviews with LAROI, as well as some of his esteemed mentors and peers in the music industry including Justin Bieber, Post Malone, and more, and will be available to stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on February 29. The official trailer, including a sneak peek of LAROI’s new song featured in Kids Are Growing Up, is out NOW, February 21st.

Kids Are Growing Up tells the intimate story of Charlton "The Kid LAROI" Howard who went from an unknown musician living in Australia to a teenage global superstar selling out his hometown arena on back-to-back nights in just three years. The film captures a unique moment in time, as LAROI enters adulthood, navigating the pressures of rapid fame, struggles with his mental health, first love, and the tragic death of his mentor—the late great Juice WRLD. Cameras began rolling before the massive success of “Stay” and continue as LAROI gears up for his first world tour and studio album. As LAROI is forced to deal with problems greater than his age, he searches for what happiness truly means, and how to handle outsized expectations from the public, those closest to him, and himself.

“Thank you to the incredible teams at OBB Pictures and Amazon MGM Studios for their support in sharing my story,” said Charlton "The Kid LAROI" Howard. “I can’t wait for audiences to see this behind-the-scenes portrayal of my journey, which perfectly encapsulates some of the most rewarding and challenging years of my life and career so far.”

Kids Are Growing Up is produced by OBB Pictures’ Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner, Kfir Goldberg, and Arlen Konopaki.

Blame it on ‘Top Boy’ and all those amazing London-based series you can’t help but find yourself falling for. The upcoming ‘Jungle’ Prime Video series looks simply stunning and like a thrill ride you can’t wait to crack into.

The details are still coming together but in the meantime, enjoy some snippets of information and a thrilling sneak peek at the show as we all count down the days to September 30.

Today, during the virtual Television Critics Association panel, Prime Video released the first-look teaser for the six-part scripted Original series Jungle. Produced by Nothing Lost, the visually daring and sonically stunning new series presents a distinctive form of rhythmic storytelling rooted in UK rap and drill music, and will premiere Friday, September 30, exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Jungle follows the connected lives of several strangers, each facing their own struggle, viewed through the prism of UK rap and drill music, and gives a perspective on an often-unseen world. Frequently misunderstood, it’s a world where one law governs everything: only the strongest will survive. As the strangers’ worlds begin to unravel around them, they come to the realization that every action, no matter how small, has a consequence.

The series will be told through a unique blend of music and dialogue, working alongside creatively ambitious cinematography and design to create a tilted, timeless version of today’s London. In total, Jungle uniquely features more than 30 of the UK’s top drill and rap artists, such as Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, Jordan McCann, Double Lz, and Bando Kay. At its onset, the series introduces Gogo (played by Ezra Elliott) and Slim (played by RA). The story unfolds with a variety of contributing roles brought to life by the expansive cast, which also includes M24 as 6ix, J Fado as Chapo, K Koke as Stacks, Jaykae as Willow, IAMDDB as Mia, Seyi Andes-Pelumi as Danial, and AMARIA BB as Bianca. Portraying the city through compelling visuals whilst detailing the many perils of day-to-day life in inner city London, Jungleultimately seeks to convey a bigger message about the true value of life.
