The NBA 2K Producer Series has officially arrived for NBA 2K23

Low-key? I honestly play NBA 2K23 daily - to the point it’s honestly the first game I play on either the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. I am a stationary bike fanatic so if I am biking, I am gaming goals at the same time and there’s endless content continuously happening with NBA 2K. The latest addition? How about the NBA 2K Producer Series?

From the series launching for submissions to getting a new ‘Dope Boy’ song courtesy of New York rapper Dave East? Yup - it’s safe to say no other basketball game comes close to how much of a must-own this newest 2K release is. Peep the full-fledged details and catch me in an online match.

Today, the NBA 2K Producer Series officially opens for submissions, giving fans the opportunity to showcase their best rhymes using beats from some of the leading producers in music. The first entry of the NBA 2K Producer Series features a beat by Grammy Award-winning producer BoogzDaBeast, and future producers include Chris “Big Duke” Malloy, Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and JohnG.

The NBA 2K Producer Series allows players to record their own verses over the beat while playing through the game and share it on social media.

Players can visit the official NBA 2K Beats Producer Series landing page to get more info on downloading their preferred instrumental from any of the four producers and upload their track to Twitter, Instagram or TikTok using the #NBA2KProducerSeries hashtag. Standout submissions will be hand-picked by each producer and highlighted every two weeks on the NBA 2K social channels.

Additionally, 2K announced that the NBA 2K23 soundtrack now features a new, unreleased track from Dave East titled, “Dope Boy,” before it arrives on global streaming services. Fans can play today and listen to the new track in-game.
