There's a 'Cloverfield' alternate ending on deck for the 15th anniversary limited-edition 4K Ultra HD SteelBook
Is the headline long enough for you? If I could really push the limits, it would read something along the lines of ‘The must-own Cloverfield limited-edition 4K Ultra HD SteelBook is the only way to celebrate its 15-year anniversary and it’s packed with amazing awesomeness.’ Not too shabby, huh?
Easily one of the most fun, exciting and mind-blowing flicks of its kind arrived January 18, 2008 and I have watched it easily nearly 10 times in addition to its epic follow-up 10 Cloverfield Lane which is still beyond epic and must-see. So with 15 years nearly in the books, it’s the only way to geek out over this sci-fi thriller, especially if you love New York disaster things.
Before geeking out with all the cool things you get with this rollout, let me just simplify why this movie is epic. For starters, if you watch it with the lights out at home, you really feel like you’re in a moment and experiencing this in real life. Especially being a New Yorker, the reactions and decisions - for the most part of course - all seem genuine through the end. Running with heels on though? Eh - a stretch - but everything else? Spot-on. Okay, whew - with that being said… let’s start the countdown.
