BlueBucksClan deliver hard bars and dark vibes in 'Suffer' music video

Who says you need bright lights and sunshine to get the spotlight? Turns out BlueBucksClan know how to deliver hard bars and put together a dark visual to capture your attention.

DJ and Jeezy Obama come through with their newest anthem in the visual form and give even more motivation for fans to tap into their Clan Way 3 album.

Today, Los Angeles rap duo BlueBucksClan unleash the music video for their track “Suffer. In the Nick Buckwalter directed visual, DJ and Jeeezy Obama rap to the camera from inside of an ornate Victorian-style room. Against low light and under a chandelier, they directly address the audience with no shortage of intensity, issuing an ominous warning to opps.

It continues a string of captivating visuals, including the duo’s visual for “Pretty Much. Meanwhile, Clan Way 3 has reeled in over 25 million total streams and counting and received unanimous praise. Pitchfork proclaimed, “the Los Angeles duo brings back the laugh-out-loud antics. It’s breezy and fun, bolstered by the pair’s flawless chemistry, and Lyrical Lemonade attested, “they’re a tag team that is essential to any West Coast music fan.

In just three short years, BlueBucksClan have established themselves at the forefront of L.A. rap’s new wave with uproarious jokes and bone chilling threats delivered in flows that first seem like off-the-cuff conversations before revealing their sly rhythmic complexity. Clan Way 3 has been praised for their “flawless chemistry” from a Pitchfork review while PEOPLE praised the duo’s “fiery bars.” Next month hometown fans will be able to see BlueBucksClan make their Rolling Loud festival debut on March 5.

Though Jeeezy Obama and DJ exist close to the cutting edge of hip-hop, they’ve already garnered praise from the most established voices in the genre and cultural sports tastemakers including Kevin Durant, Saweetie, Russell Westbrook, and  Drake who called them “two goats” after seeing their recent “Fire in the Booth” freestyle among others. Given the reception that past projects like Clan Virus 2 and Clan Way 2 received — and seeing as Clan Way 3 is a deepening of their style in every sense — one can only imagine the heights that BlueBucksClan could now ascend to. Currently the duo has amassed over 260 million streams to date.
