Cory Gunz & Jae'won: It's a hard-hitting flex on display in the 'Rick Owens x Nike Tech' music video

There’s no slowing down the production of rap artist Cory Gunz. It’s one thing to put out fire music and it’s a whole other to deliver hard-hitting visuals to accompany those anthems. So seeing the new ‘Rick Owens x Nike Tech’ visual? Tough-tough.

Multi-platinum selling recording artist Cory Gunz is back with another visual! Gunz releases the video for “Rick Owens x Nike Tech”featuring Jae’won and it can be watched HERE.

The visual was shot by Why N.O.T. Productions and takes place at the Cult of Individuality with intermediate glimpses of them partying at a club. In the video, you see Cory and Jae’won portray a rock band while they boast about lavish lifestyles as The Bronx native shouts out his Militia team. The video for “Rick Owens x Nike Tech” was also premiered on BET Jams and the song can be heard on Loosie Pack 3.

The visual for “Rick Owens x Nike Tech” comes off the heels of the release of The Militia mixtape where Cory teams up with fellow Militia members Black Saun, Qui3t, Whispers, RMK, Mulaarie and more on nine new tracks with a feature from Ms. Hustle. Songs like “Bout Mine” and “Club & Go” showcase the crew’s versatility as they rap over Jersey club beats and gritty sounds. The Militia also pays homage to veteran rapper-turned-podcaster N.O.R.E.’s first album with the song “Head Tonight.”

The Militia tape comes after Cory flawlessly executed his “On The Radar" Freestyle where he unleashed rapid fire bars for four minutes straight! The freestyle was liked by fellow labelmate Drake and received rave reviews from industry peers such as A$AP Ferg, Dave East, Tony Yayo, Don Cannon and more. The freestyle has also been released on DSPs where it received playlisting on Apple Music’s Base:Line, BARS and Underground Hip-Hop Essentials.

Prior to Cory’s “On The Radar” Freestyle, the Bronx native released the video for “NaySay” which pays homage to legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon and Ghostface Killah by replaying the beat of one of the biggest songs of rap’s Golden Era, “Ice Cream.”  Last month, the YMCMB artist also dropped his solo mixtape, Loosie Pack 3 which features guest appearances from Jim Jones, Chris Rivers, Jae’won, Whispers and more. Four of Loosie Pack 3’s previously released tracks, “Real Rights,” “Die Slowly,” “Laundry” and “Rick Owens x Nike Tech,” have quickly become fan-favorite songs and received playlisting on Apple Music’s Base:Line, BARS, Football, Basketball and Underground Hip-Hop Essentials.  

Loosie Pack 3 is the third installment of the Loosie Pack mixtape series which began to drop last fall.
