Cory Gunz: It's all about paying Andre 3000 homage in the '3 Staxx' music video

Is there any doubting Cory Gunz’s greatness? The hip-hop veteran comes through with a much-needed ‘3 Staxx’ music video and it slaps from start to finish.

A few months after delivering a Loosie Pack 2 project to the masses, Cory delivers both audio and visual flexing with the new must-see. Tap in.

Platinum-selling recording artist Cory Gunz unleashed the video for his bar-heavy track “3 Staxx” off his Loosie Pack 2 mixtape and can be watched HERE.

The visual was directed by W.H.Y N.O.T Productions and takes place in front of late rapper DMX’s mural in the heart of Yonkers, NY. Gunz goes bar for bar, as he pays homage to hip-hop legend André 3000 with a cameo from up-and-coming rapper Jae’Won.

The release of the video for “3 Staxx” comes off the heels of Gunz’s performance of the song on DJ Self’s show Apt. 5H and his interview where he talks about an upcoming collab he has with YMCMB head honcho Lil Wayne. “3 Staxx” has received praise from fans and industry peers alike, and has also received placement on Spotify’s State of Mind playlist.

Loosie Pack 2 contains seven tracks in which the YMCMB lyricist spits the type of bars that has garnered him a loyal cult fanbase. The EP’s lead single “Scenario”, produced by Blac Saun and Qui3t, features Nino Man, Whispers and RMK while paying homage to revered hip-hop groups A Tribe Called Quest and Leaders of the New School's classic song “Scenario.” The track was also featured playlists such as Apple Music’s BarsThe New New York and Base:Line.

Loosie Pack 2 serves as the follow up to Loosie Pack which was released this past October. The EP’s lead single, “Whispering” produced by Black Saun, features fellow hip-hop artists Styles P and Whispers and was featured on playlists such as Apple Music’s Bars and The New New York
