Danny Towers: The cameras are rolling for the 'Right Now' music video

It’s nighttime flexing and all types of cinematic filming whenever hip-hop artist Danny Towers is involved. The rap anthem-maker delivers with a ‘Right Now’ single and music video.

It’s more than just a solo effort. Danny teams with fellow rap artists Bossman Dlow and Lil Wet for the hard-hitting visual. Tap in.

“Right Now” is a haunting banger backed by a poignant synth melody, pitter-pattering snares, and menacing bass, the track finds the swampy trio calling shots like veterans, putting the lessons their upbringing taught them on full display. In the video, Danny mobs with his crew outside a trap house, trading off verses with two other Florida rappers–rising star Bossman DLow and Danny’s fellow Orlando native Lil Wet–under an eerie sky. The threat of the police looms with flashes of red and blue illuminating the dark space, but Danny is unfazed, continuing to spit bars and flex his wads of cash.

Danny took 2023 by storm by releasing his viral hit Florida Water” featuring Luh Tyler & Ski Mask The Slump God, which earned praise from XXL, Stereogum, HotNewHipHop, and more. Peaking at #1 on TikTok’s trending chart, the track inspired a photo dump trend on TikTok, where creators drop the flyest selfies in their Photos app as the beat drops and Danny’s infectious hook, “Threw him in that water, I’m from Florida, but my wrist Cuban,” gives way to Luh Tyler’s croaking verse. Danny closed the year strong after a hot string of releases including releasing his album Safe House alongside longtime collaborator DJ Scheme plus headlining Spotify’s Most Necessary show in Miami last month.
