Highway: Buckle up because it's 'on dat shit' with this new anthem

The West Coast rap scene is alive and well with a large portion of credit going to Seattle’s Highway. The hip-hop artist comes through with major anticipation for his new Monochrome studio effort arriving this week with his new ‘on dat shit’ anthem.

Whether you’re losing your mind to the song by itself or have yourself just chilling out to the single, Highway delivers with the anthem’s official music video. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see Highway in his cinematic flex.

his is the second track of his upcoming project "Monochrome" coming next monthEarlier this year, Highway was seen in Supreme's new collection/ campaign featured in THEM Magazine. Highway sees himself as a bridge between worlds. The 23-year-old MC from Seattle, born Mekhi Rogers, is an extraordinary rapper with an inherent sense of melody that reverberates in every bar he spits.

He wants to show the hidden links between seemingly unrelated lineages, like the similarities he finds in the downcast grunge movement from his hometown in the '90s and the narcotized rap that took over Atlanta in the mid-2010s. He's been at these ambitious goals since he first began producing and writing songs at 17. Though his rapping came later, the malleable rising star's recent string of singles show he can do a little bit of everything-and that he does it all extremely well. Recently the rising star has dropped his self-named HIGHWAY mixtape as well as follow up "Livin Like That" while signed to VictorVictor Worldwide & Geffen Records.
