Inayah puts out the summer love anthem for Most Girlz in her new music video

Still going for summer love goals? Look no further than what Inayah’s delivering on her new ‘Most Girlz’ music video. Focused on paying it back to her ride or die for staying committed through her own insecurities, the tune goes hard-hard.

From the audio impact to her signature on-screen smile, it’s all about Inayah. Check out the details and keep scrolling to see her light up the visual.

EMPIRE’s R&B royalty, Inayah releases her latest single and visuals for “Most Girlz.” Known for wearing her heart and soul on her sleeve, the Houston native bears it all in this ode honoring reciprocated love from a significant other while embracing inner insecurities.

“Most Girlz is a story of transparency about how we juggle our deepest insecurities without realizing that there’s someone in our life that will love us through it! Often, we’re so settled into our flaws that the love surrounding us goes unnoticed. “Cause Most Girlz don’t find love in the city”…. a thought that lives in the back of the minds of many who feel unworthy of ever being someone’s “person”. Allowing ourselves to be loved above all of our deeply buried, self critiquing feelings, is a challenge in itself but…. it is one that can be conquered.” -Inayah

Inayah’s pen game continues to reign supreme with powerful, relatable lyrics including “I keep putting you in positions that should make you want to leave, but you just keep…. you keep lovin’ me harder.” The track highlights Inayah in her realest and rawest form and includes a cameo from her real life, love of her life playing opposite of her making for an authentic on screen chemistry.

“Most Girlz” follows the songstress’ May release of “Always Something.” After a successful 2021 with the release of her sophomore project Side A, and her single “Best Thing” hitting over 48 million views and becoming RIAA Gold Certified, music enthusiasts have been looking forward to new music from the rap-singer. Inayah dropped videos for “Peaches,” “Fallin,” and “What Are We” off of the EP. The tone for 2022 has also been set as she’s been performing all over the country including wrapping a set on Mary J Blige’s highly successful Strength of a Woman festival.

And in case you’re catching up to what the Houston native is all about? Check out her full details.

There are few artists who exemplify genuine raw emotion, rollercoaster story scenarios and a work ethic like no other than Houston bred singer and songwriter Inayah. An artist who paints dynamic pictures through words, she has become known as one of the most powerful and relatable songstresses in entertainment and a modern day Mary J Blige.

The EMPIRE partner impacted the masses with her RIAA Gold Certified single “Best Thing” which has surpassed 43 million video views and paved the way setting the tone for a fanbase who could connect on numerous levels to the concept of every song she writes. Heading into the summer of 2022, Inayah is slated to present her most vulnerable and transitional project to date with Insecure and focus track “Always Something” .Although she is in a great place in life, there are relatable weights and emotions that filter through. She touches on mental health, postpartum depression, second guessing and burn out emotions that come with life and relationships.

With a background in Gospel music, Inayah found a love for the stage performing in multiple competitions and talent shows throughout her hometown. Inspired by her mother and icons such as Anita Baker, Johnnie Taylor, Aretha Franklin, and The Clark Sisters, she honed in on her sound and pen eventually landing a job for a jingle. With a naturally infectious personality, clever wit, and sharp one liners, the singer found herself the center of a viral moment when she posted an unofficial remake to Ella Mai’s 2017 hit single “Boo’d Up.” Her debut album S.O.L.A.R was released in 2019 with lead singles “Best Thing” and “Sugar Daddy.” With the love life lows also came amazing and life changing highs as outside of the studio Inayah found herself in a new relationship igniting a love she’d never experienced before and introduced a new blessing with motherhood for the second time inspiring Inayah’s 2021 EP Side A. The 90’s R&B yet modern twist focus tracks “Peaches,” “Fallin,” and “What Are We” filled a void in the R&B space that had been needed for years. To end the year, Inayah was named one of ASCAP Urban’s “On The Come Up” artists on the rise to watch.
