Jadakiss dishing on how Allen Iverson changed the Hoops fashion game is must-see

The LOX’s Jadakiss has plenty to talk about these days, especially when it comes to the love for basketball. The veteran hip-hop artist steps up for a ‘The Compound’ appearance to talk about his longtime friend and NBA icon Allen Iverson’s impact on the culture.

Jada talks about A.I.’s impact on NBA style and doesn’t hold back. Peep the details and keep scrolling for over two minutes of Kiss talk.

Recently, designer and fashion icon April Walker joined rapper Jadakiss, longtime DJ Set Free Richardson (known for creating the AND1 Mixtape and the “7” hat) and a few others to chat a bit about basketball culture – everything from fashion to gaming to music to betting.

During the convo, which took place at Brooklyn’s The Compound – a creative collective and gallery dedicated to roundball lifestyle – the group spoke to the evolution of the sneaker game, how the tunnel can be compared to the catwalk and credit to AI.

“He was the gamechanger for fashion in my world. He broke that mold. Nope, I’m not wearing a suit… the Afro, the sleeve, all of it…”
